Tannehill is a stud, over 4000 yards with this line and to make it through all season with as many hits he took....kid is tough as nails.
Kevin Coyle must go....although the O-Line is a huge issue, the D was the reason we did not make the playoffs period. Atl east 3 late game collapses by the D kept this team out of the playoffs.
Players that must go - Wilson, kid is a joke. Wheeler and Ellerbe (**** you Jeff Ireland), Dallas Thomas, and Sturgis (at least bring in competition, kid is not clutch and I hold my breath every time he kicks)

Immediate needs O-Line help and a DT/NT that can clog the middle and hold the center and guard. Those are the biggest needs. We are tight in cap space, but the release of a few dead weight or average players will free up a bit more.

I do think the team is close and definitely heading in the right direction. If they expand the playoffs by 2 teams....no reason why we shouldn't be in next year. i hate losing the Jets period, but the loss was probably best for the team for drafting reasons and the force the hand on axing Coyle!

Crazy on a personal note, the next Dolphins game I will be watching will be as a civilian after retiring with 26 years in the Air Force! Crazy how time flies. Although ending with an 8-8 season, this is the first time in a while that I have felt very good about going in to the next season!

Thank you for your service enjoy your much deserved retirement

Congrats and thank you for 26 years of service to your country. So what is up next for you Stang?

Either a GS job or try to get on at Raytheon! Thanks fellas!

Congrats on retirement bro. I'm at 15 and 20 can't come fast enough as the Navy gets worse and worse every day. Very corporate with the Wardroom running the Navy vice both Wardroom and CPO mess.

The D needs gutting. Midget corners, quitters all over, terrible depth. And that interior line on both sides is an embarrassment. This team needs a lot and unfortunately with Ross giving Phailbin life last week we are stuck with another year of crap.

Here's to 2016! Not a typo!

I agree 100% with everything you wrote, hope they are able to make the necessary changes to put this team in better position next year, starting with fixing the line, and getting a better DC.

Thank you very much for your service. Let us hope in your retirement you will be able to enjoy finally success from our team. Enjoy Stang

It's funny, early on in the season the Offense was terrible and the Defense was keeping us in games. Down the stretch the offense was moving the ball decently, only to have the defense completely fold. The O-line was pretty weak throughout, especial after Albert went down.

Oline needs work but is in better position then it was a year ago. Albert,Pounce and James are a good nucleus. I'm interested to see if Turner devolpes. Guards are usually easier to find then tackles so hopefully we can find a few this off-season.

We need linebacker help desperately.

Great post Stang! I agree with you about Tannehill and try to ignore the haters my friend. I also would like to see significant upgrades along the O-Line and backside of the Defense. They disappeared down the stretch and it cost us.

Last, but certainly not least, I too would like to thank You for your service and making it possible for all of us to live free and happy lives. If you are ever in Richmond,Va and are heading towards a Sports Bar to check out the game, the drinks are on me my friend! Happy New Year.

agree w the entire post. Congratulations on your retirement and a huge thank you for your service!
