JUst another reason I am never for signing a guy to a long term committment based on one year of good play. Dallas gave up on a second round pick pretty quick and he finally showed he might be a good NFL TE last season. This year he has been only visible in negative ways and has 3 receptions for 11 yards with 2 fumbles. He also missed on a chance to make a big play versus Indy in the endzone. Throught three games last year he had 11 receptions and 2 tds.

He is our only legitimate NFL TE on the roster and he has been horrible so far.
We have nothing behind him and a position that seemed strong last year so far has become a huge weakness. At this rate the only reason to resign him would be if he signed a minimum wage contract. At this point it looks like TE may be a much bigger draft need than first suspected.

When Joey Hanyos is starting to take your playing time you need a reality check.
That first game might of really messed him up.
I would really like a modern day TE

I would settle for a good TE. Haynos and Nalbone together dont deserve an NFL roster spot.

Fasano has sucked just like the rest of the players. The only ones performing are Ronnie and, given he`s a rookie, Sean Smith.

Its a good point. Fasano has been a ghost in the last two games as far as receiving goes. You would think that with Henne now coming in, he will get more involved in the passing game, as I'm sure Henne will look for the checkdown to his TE or RB so he can gain a bit of confidence and get a rhytem going.

But for a guy who is in a contract year and supposedly our best TE, you would expect much better.

At this point he does not seem worth resigning unless he wants a pretty small contract
