Someone tell me X is ok?

I may be a cynic, but X grabbing his knee one second and then sitting on the bench, laughing it up, rather than seeing trainers, reminded me of Revis grabbing his hammy after getting burned for a TD by Moss.

Granted, this came after a pick, but prior to that, X wasn't top of the world.

On the play prior to the interception Howard guarded Conley on the left sideline and was so certain it had been an incomplete pass he was waving his arms no good and acting rather proud of himself, somehow unaware that Conley caught the ball for a change.

Some announcers would have picked up on that. These guys did not. Then Howard more than made up for it with the pick on the following play.

That was damn good coverage on that play and as tight as Conley was to the sideline the window there was minuscule.

Dude may not have any cartridge left in that knee... Seems like a great guy.

Was a terrific player. But CBs missing meniscus tend to be "degenerative."

Sucks. Same thing shortened Patrick Surtain's greatness -- he played a while

but the trajectory was always on a downward slope

29 interceptions in 108 games with the Dolphins.

8 interceptions in 55 games with the Chiefs.

One of JJ's great R2 picks.

Same round as X yes?

Must have had my TV turned up extra loud. I heard someone scream "I gotta cramp" so I assumed it was Howard. Def freaked out for a min tho

Surtain was drafted in the 2nd round but it actually costed us a 1st round pick. JJ traded his first round pick from the following year in order to draft him in the 2nd round the year he was drafted. I'm never a fan of doing that but in that case it was worth it.

It’d be nice to know what procedure was actually done. I had 50% of mine removed when I was 17. I doubt they partially removed it. Did they just sew it back together and hope it regenerates (very tough due to lack of blood flow) or did they do a transplant? With how long he was out a transplant wouldn’t surprise me.
