PATIENCE....I cant stress it anymore then I have in my last couple of posts this week. People do not seem to understand this concept of patience with our team. Let me ask you all a question....why do you think the front office didnt break the bank for any free agents this off-season or last off-season. If Bill Parcells thought this was a super bowl caliber team then he probably would of went out and got himself a number 1 receiver and some other playmakers on both sides of the ball. however....

Bill Parcells looks at this as year 2 of about a 4 year building process. This front office is going to continue to build the roster through the draft and low risk/high value free agents like jason taylor(hes getting paid nothing). We are NOT, let me repeat, NOT an 11-5 football team. Now im not saying were not a good team, but were not an 11-5 team yet.

And just on a sidenote, anyone that is blaming mondays loss on chad or ginn or any offensive players, you are so stupid its mind boggling.

Your right, we should never have expected Ginn to make two sure TD catches as a #1 WR. WHat were we thinking?

Its because of our success last year that makes it hard to take this year. Im sure if we started 0-2 after only winning one game, we'd be more ok with it.

The Defense, poor playcalling at the end, Penny missing some open WRs, AND ginn''s drops are the reasons we lost. There are more than one... So you can stop calling others stupid because you really like Penny or Ginn or whoever. There is plenty of weakness in that game to go around and some does fall on offensive players

*Sigh*

While I agree with you ... C'mon now, you've been here long enough now to realize how this board works. When we win, it's champagne and caviar all around. When we lose it's **** (poop) sandwitches for all.

BTW: is the name calling necessary? I feel like doing it too sometimes, but ...

What are you talking about?!!! Pennington was nearly flawless in the Colts game.

true but our d needs to work on getting creative with the 3-4 instead of just doing man on man with no movement before the snap. opposing offensive line and qb's can read our d so easily. maybe we can get creative we can be a top ten d that most of us thought we should be.

There were several plays he missed an open WR, but checked it down to Ricky. He also missed Fasano by a couple of inches on the TD pass.

he could also be partially blamed for the 3 min debacle. Coaching should definitely take first hit for that though.

I also heard he audibled the 3rd down play to a run. If thats true, tough not knock him there.

You probably should have left the "sidenote" out of it, because you had a pretty good post until then, but with this comment you showed you have an agenda.

There was a lot of blame to go around Monday night. The defense has to shoulder most of it, but to say Penny and Ginn don't take some of it is well, you said it "stupid."

Despite your last comment, everyone on the board should take your advice. The team improved the level of their play between week 1 and week 2. If the team continues to improve from week to week, then we will be competitive. The Dolphins are fun to watch, so enjoy watching them!! It is clear that the front office is improving the talent on the roster. I believe that Sparano is improving the talent of the players on the roster, so we will get better.

I must say that I agree with you. I remember talking about patience in an earlier post........ that was 3 years ago. The level of frustration from fans and folks on this board due to a lack of a SB win is evident. We are really not a good football team right now, (that's not to sat that we won't be) but like you said we all could use a little patience.

So, understanding that we ought to be patient and that we're building, shouldn't we start Henne from here on out?

This way: either he develops, or we know that he isn't our guy. What's the point of struggling with the QB that you don't want to be your QB next season?
