With the way things are looking in the free agency right now, it looks like we will look more to the draft to upgrade this team.

(strenghts breakdown from nfldraftcountdown.com)

I think these picks are resonable and would be great additions to our team. Filling the need of C, DT, OLB would be a great step forward to filling the gaps on this team. The next 2 postions that would need addressing are CB and WR. I think we will try to cover these through the remainder of FA period.

What do you guys think?

Nice job, it looks like they'll almost certainly go with centre in first three picks. Brace would be a nice pickup and popular with most fans.

That would leave BPA on third, depending if we're finished in FA or not.

We need to get a CB from somewhere. I think it a bit doubtful we won't select a CB with one of the top three regarless of what happens in FA.

I'd like to get some depth to our pass rush too though. I don't think we're done with free agency just yet.

Satele is 6' 3" 300 pounds. How is he not the "ideal" size and bulk? Does 7/8" and 11 pounds make that much difference?

Where is our #1 WR?

Alex Mack is a beast.. Satele isnt..

plus mack is the biggest C in the draft..

There's not one on the roster. Thanks for the attitude.

how many games have you ever seen that were lost because they didnt have a "number 1 receiver". now compare that to the amount of games lost when a team had no D, or compare it to a team that cant run the ball because they dont have a good center. hows that for attitude.

It is well documented how much our defense improved last year. It is also well documented that we lost 2 starting o-linemen this year. It is also well documented that our starting center had a torn labrum for half the year. It is also well documented that the o-line coach was fired mid year.

We also lost our leading receiver at the time, Camarillo, to a blown out knee. This leading receiver who was an undrafted free agent. Then we finished the year with a "leading" receiver with a total of 4 TDs. But you're right. No need for a #1 receiver.

So I apologize for thinking you had an attitude. You're just ignorant.

hakeem nicks would be a nice #1 wr at #25.

and a legit #1 wr is a definite need.

Thought of another question for you. How long have you been watching the Fins? If it has been long enough, you would know that Dan Marino never had a good defense. He also had a revolving door in the offensive line. We won lots of games then. But he did have a true #1 WR most of the time.

Marino made his receivers number 1's.
