Soooo, I Know a lot of You Guys Are Haters, BUT....

Not many Crowder haters here anymore, we all realized just how vital he is for us, and I'm very glad that he'll be back Sunday
 
Crowder is practicing!
ESPN reports they both are questionable still I know it was either questionable or probable but I'm not sure.
We were leaving this restraunt when we were reading it so I forgot.

I'm glad he's playing, we need all of our starters for this game, but I'm not sure how anyone could have been convinced that he's "vital" to our defense. We got lit up by the spread offense against AZ and NE when Channing was in there. The only time we have stopped it all year was the second half of the KC game, when Crowder was in street clothes. Crowder makes us better, but not significantly so.

How can our leading tackler not be vital? (Well after missing last week, he's number 2).
 
Crowder was an animal at Florida and is finally starting to bring it to the pro's! I am glad he is gonna be in there!!!
 
Crowder isn't the fastest, the strongest, the quickest, but he is a good tackler and more importanly a leader and a guy that our D needs to feed off of his energy.

Didn't say he wasn't important. And maybe I misunderstood the post I was responding to. Just getting a little tired of people (including people who get paid to write about football and should know better) saying that KC moved the ball against us so well because Crowder was out when teams that run a spread offense have been able to do that to us for 2 years with or without him, and we stopped them without him in the second half. That's what I thought the post meant. Sorry if I was wrong about that.
 
I this 3-4 D, Crowder holds the inside/Middle good. If we had another Inside LB good to great, Crowder would stand out more. He's not great on a Blitz, but does all the rest the best we could ask him to. And like we all know, the KC game had a huge hole, we missed him.

How can he be that good on blitz anyway since h is seldom used in this configuration.

Agreed, that's why he is not.... they've sent him on a blitz, but he can't get after the QB. This was revealed with him early in his career, he's not that type of LB.
