I think it might be time to try something a little different for sotw. As always, the winner will get 1000 phin dollars and hopefully we can get more than 2 people to compete this week.

Sig: 500 x 300 or less
Subject: Make a sig out of this picture

You can use other pics for your sig, but this pic must be used as well.

Due: Saturday July 21st

Yeah the graphics forum has been rather thin lately. I almost think a nice prize for the winner would be for L2G, JT or whoever is running that contest that week, to wear the sig as their own for a week. That way other forums could see it and maybe cross promote people back into the forums here.

Displaying the sig isn't a bad idea, the only problem that I can see is that not everybody goes to every forum here on FH. I stay primarily here in GFX, I'm mostly a lurker in VIP and only go to the zoo once in a great while.

I have seen on other GFX sites where they display the sotw at the bottom of the main forum page. Maybe that could be done here as well, even if it was only in the GFX forums. Or maybe it could be displayed somewhere on the homepage. We could even make it so the sotw winner gets to choose the rules for the next sotw contest.

I was thinking about that too. Perhaps a sticky in the lounge announcing and showing the winning sig with a link to the GFX forum? The lounge is probably the second most popular part of this site behind the main Dolphins Talk forum? I travel throughout the site too so I would be willing to showcase the artwork as well if needed. JT, what do you think?

Only one? Geez. I can maybe throw one together but it wouldn't be until Sat. morning late Fri. night.

Alright, we'll extend it until Monday 8pm. to give everyone a chance to put something together. Maybe a few pm's to the graphics people might help too. If anyone needs an extra day or two, just let us know.

Yeah but I haven't done anything in a long time. 17 and passed by prime :lol:

Does the theme have to be Jordan or can it just be NBA?
