I heard Cameron may be a pay cut no evidence of that but Maxwell was already reported to be restructuring to lower his cap number for this year, same contract more bonus.
So more of the pay me later campaign

I guess that's good. Depends on how you look at it. Less money in the contract likely means better pick compensation for Philly. I think. Either way it's better than a straight up trade for a bad contract! Thanks for the little info bit.

Whats your take on the Alonso part of the deal? Quite like that little sweetener, worth a year on a low contract to see if he can get healthy imo

Not too surprising. Teams would't make trades unless players restructured most of the time.

I would rather take Maxwell without adding bonus money into the equation.
We basically take on no dead money and wont be contemplating paying him 11 million a year if we keep him.

I personally think Alonso is the only possible bright part of deal if he can revery to rookie form.
