Source: Dolphins sign LB Deon Lacey from CFL

Who is he? any info on this guy. He's probably already our 2nd best LB after Alonso

Ozzy rules!!

if you look at the CFL stats page for defense, this guy is in the top 6. Hopefully that means something for us

Sweet, start him! But seriously, either we are DESPERATE for lb help in the playoffs or this guy is a prospect for next year. Either way its good to know theyre being proactive to fix the issue.

6'2, 229 lbs, 26 years old. Went to West Alabama.

Had 3 interceptions, 1 sack, 87 tackles in 2016. Yep, sounds like our 2nd best LB no doubt lol

Glad they're turning every rock but they still better draft a LB with our first or 2nd round pick

Not very big so I imagine he's pretty fast. Playing up there maybe he can actually cover?

Is this about next year? Surely he can't play on Sunday? Don't you have to be on the regular season roster to play in playoffs?

Would be for a futures contract so he doesn't count against the 53 man

Be so great for him if he played this week. His first game in the NFL, would be a playoff game!

From the sounds of it, this guy is willing to do the dirty work on special teams, which is what we need from our reserve linebackers. If he comes in and makes enough plays to start, that's great, but as long as he can contribute on special teams I'd be happy. We lucked out with Wake in the CFL, so no reason not to give other guys a shot, as well.
