Dolphins OLB Jason Taylor will become an unrestricted free agent in March, and the team has a potential replacement for him in Cameron Wake, who has shown flashes of brilliance as a situational pass rusher in his first NFL season. Sources in Miami, however, expect Taylor, who had a very solid year at 35 years old, will be back with the Dolphins. One observer called him the epitome of a team leader.

I want JT back but I would hope we can ask less out of him and not play him as an every down LB and more like a situational pass rusher

JT over Porter any day. JT is just what you look for in a professional football player.

How much money is Porter making? 7 mil this year or something? Yeah, I'd rather have his *** out before JT anyday.

He wasn't even that good last year with the 17.5 sacks. Most of the time it would only be one sack, and that would be the only thing he would do the whole game.

I can care less if JT stays. Do not take me more I rather him more stay then go, but Wake or someone else needs to take most the snaps. JT is getting old and if we are to expect good from him we needs someone good if front of him. Now Jp needs to go he is a joke.

Epitome of a team leader. Somebody here at FH said he wasn't. who to believe? countless players, coaches, and other sources close to the team? Or an armchair qb who bases his theories on things he picks up on television?

He had a great year last year . . . tailed off at the end (except for the clutch sack against San Fran) . . . definitely better than this year, where he has been invisible and can't beat anybody one on one.

I think his days in Miami are done as well. We have alot of young talent at OLB (Anderson, Wake, Moses and Walden) coming back, plus I'm sure we will add a guy or 2 via the draft . . . maybe even FA . . . plus a good chance JT will be back to lead that group of youngsters.

He definitely was critical last year, but its time to move on.

"One observer".

Might be Juaquin that lives in his mom's basement in Okalla.

When JT wasn't the great team leader of the defense that presided over one of the most epic collapses in NFL history, I'll believe he has the ability to lead a team.
