A member of the Martin camp said a few days ago that the Dolphins know more than they have let on publicly regarding his emotional issues. (We’ll reserve judgment until Ted Wells’ report is released.) The source said the Dolphins should have realized something was wrong when he skipped two days of offseason practices.

Fox’s Howie Long said Monday night that he has been “led to believe” the Dolphins “knew prior to this season there was a major problem, as major as you can get” with Martin and that the team knew for awhile he was “emotionally unstable.”

Meanwhile, a member of the Martin camp told us Incognito was not being honest when he denied knowledge of any physical attack against Martin. That alleged attack happened in 2012, away from the facility, and was witnessed by teammates. This looms as one of the biggest Incognito/Martin contradictions that Wells will need to reconcile.

of course the stories dont match, its all hearsay. unless these teammates back him up theres no case

The source is from Martin's camp. No **** he's going to say that they knew beforehand.

Who cares if they knew Martin had emotional issues beforehand. All that matters is IF they knew of bullying beforehand.

I would not be surprised if the FO didn't know.
Didn't incognitos dad mention Martin was mentally unstable? I know he was ranting but he might have insider knowledge on that.

If Ireland and Failbin knew it just shows their lack of leadership which we have seen for some time, which is why I believe that they knew and did nothing or made it worse by letting cog "handle it".

No kidding. What were they supposed to do if or when they found out he had emotional issues? Put him on IR? Assign a body guard? Put him in a bubble?

If Martin can prove they FO knew, the FO needs to prove they at least attempted to address it.

Not tell a player with a long standing history of violence to toughen him up would be a good place to start.

Incognito's Pop alluded to suicidal feelings and being on medication. It is probable that the Dolphins knew of his issues and if that's the case and they still entrusted him to be mentored by our resident sociopath, Richie - then they probably deserve what is coming.
Interesting that Howie Long broke the news. Schefter has been fed every day with new snippets, it sounds like another source outside of the Martin camp, is now leaking.

True or not, these little tidbits are all the more reason to cut ties to everyone in this regime.

If I remember correctly, Incognito's "father" said Martin had attempted suicide multiple times...

Officially tired of this story...

Bottom line, Martin wasn't emotionally stable enough to handle the rigors and culture of the NFL, so he quit. I don't even fault him for that, just the way he chose to go about it.

He also said Pouncey is a raging drug addict.

So i hope like hell Incognito's father was totally full of ****.
