Norwood says he'll hold off on draft
Shame. he was definitely someone to look at in the 3-4 defense.
South Carolina linebacker Eric Norwood, who led the Southeastern Conference in sacks, said Monday he has changed his mind and will return to school.
"I've been looking at some of the guys from last year who increased their draft stock by returning," Norwood, a 6-foot-1, 253-pound junior, said. "So I changed my mind. I like the security that returning to school will provide."
Norwood said after the Outback Bowl that he would enter the NFL draft. He had nine sacks and 75 tackles this season.
