Being fairly confident his team will be able to run the ball, Skip Holtz wanted to get a good look at the passing game Saturday during the University of South Florida's spring game.
The head coach didn't like what he saw.
"It was pretty discouraging watching the passing game today," Holtz said following the 10-7 game at Raymond James Stadium. "I think it was very discouraging. Now, defensively, they ran every blitz known to man against our offense … but I thought just the way we executed, the passing game was really poor today. I thought it was really poor. We just didn't throw it and catch it well."
