I'm glad to see the two mentioned together. It's not one holding the other back, as the lovers would like to say. Both of them hold back each other, but if anything, the Sparano regime was doomed from the start by committing itself to Henne. Sparano showed in 2008 he could win with a better QB than Henne (and a worse roster), but it's only his own fault that he stubbornly stayed tied to Henne.
