Loooking at his last couple of press conferences, he is really feeling the blues. His shoulders are sagging, he is not talking confidently, but almost whispery & and apologetic.

Of course we know he feels awful, and that this season has gone terribly wrong, even though he has worked hard.

However will this "depression" flow over to the team ? Its something to watch.

Maybe because he's answering stupid questions and doesn't care to be there? He has a fire that comes from within that the players willing be eating all week.

what can I say.... It's a depressing team to watch right now.

True, but doesn't that sort of hurt the team, they say teams reflect their coach.....all we need now is for them to play without any hope. He needs to be inspiring.

They weren't stupid questions, because they were about Penny and now Thigpin. I hope he does still have that fire, but I am very scared that this week has just taken too much of a toll.

Tony will get it together. Still a young coach and learning to adjust. Tuna's been there before, he'll keep an eye on Sparano.

You see a totally different Tony in presser than you do on the sidelines every week....when the presser Tony shows up on the sideline, then it's time to worry.

If Sparano is married, the Dolphins probably need to get his wife to come in and make him get some sleep, exercise and eat right. He sounds like one of those coaches who pretty much lives at the training facility ... sleeping on the couch for 3 hours and then chugging coffee all day. Not very healthy. He might seriously have a heart attack or stroke if he's not careful. Lots of coaches live like this.

I want him to have a fresh mind and body on game days. Not stressed out like a commercial airline pilot who's been logging too many hours a month or whatever. You tend to make mistakes in your decisions when you are burned out and sleep deprived. That's why they are forcing the pilots to only work so many hours a month these days.

Besides, you actually are more productive and focused when you eat right and get enough sleep. His wife probably needs to do something. Coaches get NFL addiction bad sometimes. They don't know when to slow down. You can't go full throttle all the time. Gotta pace yourself like the 10K runners do. Run fast sometimes, just trot along other times. It's a long season.

He should be sorry his ultra conservative kick a field goal mentality is costing us! Come on Tony attack the endzone!

It already has. He doesnt seem to be able to reach this team and they seem to have lost faith in him.

I haven't seen any of his press conferences because aquavision is no good since the regular season started.

It plays 3 seconds of a clip then pauses for 5 seconds. They never seem to download completely even if I pause them and wait & I have the fastest DSL that bellsouth offers.
