Score is 28-24 with 5 minutes left. Oakland has the ball...

Let's see if old meatball is as worse an in-game coach as Philbin.

The situations are almost identical - both facing a top flight QB on the other side.

play by play
1st play a run for 3 yards, the 2nd play a slow-developing screen that almost got picked off, incomplete. 3rd play a pass that gets overthrown - intentional grounding.

They will punt to Chargers with 5 minutes left.

Not looking good for meatball, lol!

Keenan Allen has a 30 yard return. Chargers on the Raiders' 40.

but SD has 3 timeouts left, no need for Tony to call one for them

True.

Looks like the Chargers will pull this out.

Rivers out to the 30, 3:51 left.

Raiders will probably have time to return the score, if there is one.

But I agree, this is eerily similar. Put us and Oakland in the same category.

Raiders lost because they did not get any FIELD GOALS today. 4 TDs with no FGs does not get it done. That is why they lost by 3. Uncharacteristic of a Tony Sparano coached team.

Looks like Oakland's defense failed them like Miami's did too. Derek Carr had a really good game before he became a rookie again with his game-ending pick.
