during the press conference today coach said the ball finds jimmy wilson and rashad jones. he also said that when it comes to the physical aspect of the game he has no worry about wilson, just wants him to work on special teams more. reshad and jimmy have picked two balls in the last couple days. im thinking these are our future safties.

i think we are set at saftey.
we need a good role player on the interior o line
manny lawson or zach miller
and i guess we are sticking with these 3 at qb as of right now
 
Yea, it looks like they've been putting Wilson at SS, which is a good spot to groom him and allows us to get rid of Culver. The Clemons vs. Jones competition should be a good one. I'm hoping Jones wins and I'm thinking Jones wins.
 
The safety position sounds fine. I wonder if they're still going after Goldson.

I remember the same thing with Vontae and SS their first season where Smith was a starter pretty much day one and every one got worried then Vontae's natural ability and freakish athleticism took over and he became more dominant.

I see something along those lines with Jones v Clemons.....Clemons has alot of skill and is fast but JOnes has a tons of natural ability is also fast and is freakishly athletic so i look for the same result he jsut had to get use to the NFL game much like Vontae did.
 
Ball Hawk Jones and Jimmy Jack-Em Up Wilson. I like our future safety situation. (not nicknames just describes their play style).
 
I was at practice. Both players look good. Rashad flies all over the field. I hope he can beat out Clemons.
 
Reshad is a beast. I love the jimmy pick I can't wait to see him take Holmes head off lol

Forget about Manny Lawson, there are concerns about his knee ... I've read Lawson has a knee that still has something lingering ... My gut feeling is that is why he is still on the market!!! Damaged Goods?

For all the Ireland Haters, players like Jones, Wilson, Wake and perhaps Devlin hopefully will make all of you change your mind ... Ireland to me has filled this roster with a lot of quality players ... Wilson and Jones are another Bell, both fell through the cracks for some apparent reason!!! IMO Wilson and Jones have starting capabilities and will prove it in the not too distant future!!!
 
**** I've had good things to say about Reshad since he played at UGA... was stoked when we picked him.
 
Interesting that the ball finds Wilson & jones. Does that mean that henne isn't finding his receivers?
 
Am I the only one who thinks these guys are playing the opposite positions? Jimmy, having played CB in college, seems like he would be more of a natural fit at FS and Reshad seems more of a natural fit at SS.

If they're running with the second team I would think they're probably picking off Brandstater and not Henne.
