Sparano was asked about the Texans and he said the Texans are not supposed to be 0-4. He went on to say that he doesn't let his team forget about the loss aginst Arizona and reminds them the Texans record is not what it is supposed to be. I think Sparano has the boys ready for this game, and they are not overlooking the Texans at all like they have done in years past.

This is a big game.

At 3-2 they're right in the thick of things with 2 upcoming home games... Lots of promise.

At 2-3 they're looking under performing and inconsistent with a lot of work to do... Lots of doubt.

Big difference.

I couldn't agree more. This game is so huge. We either have a winning or losing record when it's all done. I am confident in the way that our team is playing, but there is still stuff running around in the back of my mind, like a setback on O or D, and the fact that we have never beat Houston. GO DOLPHINS!

Now that sounds like a coach.
Cameron would have given the players the week off,
take them to the beach and buy them ice cream cones.

Im so glad that you fully pointed out about how over-reactive you and a lot more on this board are going to be after the next loss or win.

Im sorry but I dont make a starch difference between "Lots of doubt" and "Lots of promise" because of a single game. Especially coming off of a 1-15 season. You just foreshaddowed the overreaction of this board.

Can we please keep a more level head about this team regaurdless of the outcome resulting in a 'w' or a 'l' in this next weeks game? Please fellow Finheaven members? It saves me and quite a few others on this board a lot of sanity.

If we lose and it's a hard fought competitive game and we didn't make mistakes or beat our selves, I won't be that upset over it.

If we lose you cannot say the Dolphins overlooked the Texans. Sparano, Chad and just about everyone who has been interview have said the Texans are a real good team that do not make penalties and have excellent Talent.

When we match them up side by side our running game, ol and defense are better then theirs. Chad is playing good ball. My worries are that we cannont turn the ball over and have to play tough, smart and discipline and Sparano is preaching just that.

Then I think about the game Ronnie had last year against Houston and how bad Houston rush defense is this year and I think him and Ricky will have a big game.

I LOVE SPARANO!!! You can easily tell he's not just blowing smoke. The guy is straight forward, makes no excuses, and is about as honest as a head coach can be. We've gone through some stinkers, but this guy just may work out.

I don't like having to go play a team that's winless at home whom we've never beat....

Perfect trap game but whether W or L I'm happy this team is starting to play respectable football again.
