Has anyone thought about Sparano's decision to not tackle during practice?
Perhaps this was one reason why the dolphins looked to be getting pushed around by a very pissed-off looking atlanta defense. the falcons looked in mid-season shape with how hard they were hitting.
on the other hand, the dolphins looked tentative, afraid to take a hit, afraid to GIVE a hit, afraid period.
PERHAPS, the falcons will wear out sooner this season than the dolphins will. perhaps the dolphins will start delivering the jarring hits in a couple of games? maybe the dolphins bodies being more rested and in better condition health-wise might be better suited to go the long haul??
only time will tell if sparano's choice to avoid strong physical contact during training will pay off...right now, it doesn't look good.
