Sparanos team will be exciting

listening to Sparano's interview, one thing keeps reverberating through.... "flexibility." I love this term and the way coach keeps referencing it, as well as the context its used in. Sparano and co., are changing the game right now, we going to see players in different positions than their designated ones, were going to see new packages, different roles for players within different packages, its going to be awesome. And I'm not talking different roles as in your a blocking fb but this time your running, I mean your a fb and this time your a swing back /tight end, your a te but this time your wr1, (your a cb but now your a wr? maybe.) three tight end sets, 3 rb sets, 2 qb sets, it goes on and on. You may think I'm way off base here but look at what we've already done: your a rb but this time your the qb, your a qb this time your a wr. damn, it's outstanding that when he's talking about defining roles, he's talking about it within particular packages, meaning that not only can your responsibilities change from package to package but within the package as well...

and that's only on offense.

we've got the "right pieces" to do this kind of mutation. we're taking on players that provide a variety of talents and skills, along with the willingness to do it...

this is why he likes Patric Cobbs so much, he plays rb, slot, sp coverage, he'll do returns, he's mobile- in every sense. are there better rb3s in the leage? I'm sure, but hes the right peice where he is.

Exciting for true football fans, not the ones looking for NO offense. Close, defensive battles sprinkle in some flashes of big offensive plays. I truely believe Sparano would love a punch you in the mouth defense with a punch you in the mouth run game, everything else is just top dressing.

The Dolphins have been the most interesting team in the NFL to watch since week 3 of last year. This year should be even better with the offense having had time to prepare more elaborate schemes and the defense much more capable of pressuring the qb.

It's very true, even if we dont make another playoff run, we will still be fun to watch.

People gotta realize, these new packages are not gimmicks, not fads. What they are, are ways to make opposing teams lose sleep over what they have to get prepared for. It's a new way to use versatile players, and a new way to win games.
