I would like to find out about the realist signings versus things like Fitzgerald, Farve, etc. al. I know that will come every off-season, but I am honestly more interested in how the roster is going to be made up versus a high profile signing. The Grigsby and Perry visits actually interest me more than getting Farve, which will not happen. Why would Farve come to a team that is miles behind Green Bay on the way to the Super Bowl, let alone playoffs? I realize it is fun to speculate, but only when you have had fun following your team year round. Being a Dolphin fan last season was anything but fun. The state of the team was completely embarassing and a disgrace to the memory of teams gone by. No fun there. I am in serious mode about seeing change on this team. I hope many of you are as well.

I think all of us are ready. There is a possibility of one more big move by tuna this offseason, especially because of the JT situation. Keep in mind, however, this might be a few year project, so patience will be key.
 
Patience is being forced upon us by the new mgmt, which I welcome, but it has upset some folks with Redskin (now Jest) FA mentality.

I fully expect a JT trade close to draft time as team needs become more apparent.

Other than that I think the Dolphins Free agency with finish with little sex appeal.
 
i dont expect, nor do i want a big splash. i have not forgotten how devoid this team is of talent, or that the best teams in the league are built through the draft. any big names we might have picked up this offseason would have been a waste, as they'd be retired(or too old) by the time we are ready to challenge.

that said, i understand people tend to get excited with the beginning of the free agency period.
 
Yeah, I for one am tired of the Fitzgerald to Miami?? and Farve to Miami?? treads. I mean unless you actually have a rumor that connects that player directly with Miami then its pretty much pointless. I'm much more interested rumors that actually connect players to Miami.

I think everyone feels this way. Keep in mind this is a message board. Speculation and Rumor will always be king, you have to use your judgment on what is fluff and smoke.
 
It's getting old for me too. I'm starting to use a lot more discretion on which threads to open. Wondering if it might finally be my time to pony up for VIP.

I'm pretty sure that wasn't their plan....but it is true that there is a lot less to weed through in VIP. Plus, VIPers heard about Grigsby and Perry yesterday :) There is just more inside information in there. Not to say that there isn't some good posting going on in the main boards, but it is a lot easier to swallow a possibly true rumor than it is to read "Farve to Miami" :lol:

speaking of tomorrow anybody know if anyone is comming in for a visit? Hopefully we can try to fill more holes on our team, what do you guys think we should do for the secondary i was thinking maybe take a shot at Ty Law and Eugine Wilson. The o-line could also use more guys as well, as for our wr any news if we have expressed intrest in Javon Walker and also is there any news on Keyshaun yet?

Well i'm sure you've read by now Tab Perry talked to the Fins today....he's a WR for the Bengals....

Really all the talk about Keyshawn is just speculation. No official reports have come out, and no one really has anything solid to really go on with that. We'll see I guess.
