This segment caught my eye. They went speculated the change in the NFL this move would have had. A lot of speculation but some of it would have happened at least.

Said Drew Brees landing in Miami prevents a 1-15 season and Cam Cam gets a second chance to save his job. Then said that would allow Parcells to go to ATL who hires Sporano there. He can't get Jake Long with the 3rd pick, who would end up with the Rams picking 2nd. Then says (which is kinda out there) that Tuna would have traded back with the Ravens who coveted Matt Ryan. Said Parcells n ATL would have still landed Henne and Pennington. Then they said the Saints would have drafted Leinart instead of Reggie Bush in turn.

I know this really means nothing but makes me feel a little better about the Brees/MIA situation. I'm glad ATL didn't get the trifecta. Just thought I'd share to kill time to 4. Go Fins!

but wasnt that the only dolphins coverage throughout the entire show? ive missed a couple segments but come on, atleast talk about the game itself.

I dont think Saban would have left if he had Brees. Saban's biggest thing was that he was afraid of failure, so he ditched like the coward he is... With Brees, 2006 would have been a much better year.

I agree with you Krisko. I was making sure i got my 1 o'clock bet in, but that's the only coverage I saw.

I'm happy we have Sparano, Ireland, and Parcells. Things just work out sometimes.

He would of left...The idiot owner we had and his gang of brothers, were the problem.Afraid of failure? So he takes over a program that has been
run into the ground and rstores it to the top,in a couple of years ..for
less money..yea. that's running.
Plus remember Wayne nixed the Brees deal, not Nick, one of the reasons
Nick left.

Interesting...first time I have heard of Wayne nixing the Brees deal.

is that true? Huizenga declined signing Drew Brees?

ANYONE CONFIRM THIS?

Ill even go back a step and say that if we got Brees, more than likely Saban doesnt ***** out and Cam never even gets hired.. That pretty much debunks evey single aspect of what BSPN says

Saban wanted Brees, and to my knowledge it was Saban's call, but the med staff said that Culpepper's knee was less of a risk than Brees' shoulder.... so Saban erred on the side of caution.... I've also heard given the medical info that it was a call most teams would've made...
