I would think it has more to do with the players than the scheme.

After all, this is the exact thing Sherman was doing when he won 3 straight division titles in Green Bay. The system has been proven to work in the NFL.

And they could run the crap out of the ball. Ahman Green was a beast when Sherman was the coach. That coupled with Farve made the offense go and would cover up some of his terrible play calling.
