The Cutler to the Phins rumor was on the NFL twitter site...they had eight potential landing spots for him.
Heard Cutler to and AFC east team somewhere also. That's not a total stretch with Jets and Bills situation I suppose, just keep him far away from our team.
Cutler would be bad, real bad, but another year of Philbin means another year of having no chance. I would just as soon the NFL go on strike all of next year as have Philbin again. The results are basically the same, both would mean no meaningful football for dolphin fans.Uh. No. Not only is Jay Cutler awful, but trading for him would wreck our salary cap. In return, we'd be saddled with a quarterback who isn't very good and has about as much leadership presence as Jeff George.
I am all for making a change at head coach, but let's not say things we can't take back. I'd much rather have another year of Philbin, hopefully with some talent gaps filled, than saddling a new head coach with Jay Cutler, this broken roster, and a busted salary cap structure.

Some NFL rumor chatter I am hearing is that Miami is a potential landing spot for Jay Cutler in 2015. God I hope not.
Cutlers not as bad as he's made out to be here
With the way this thing is going right now, does anyone really feel like it would be plausible for Joe to come back as anything but the lamest of lame ducks in 2015?
I think that if we lose to Minny, Ross should go ahead and can him next week and put him out of his misery. This is becoming a really obviously telegraphed situation, and even if Ross is thinking about keeping Joe, the buzz surrounding the situation is making that untenable at this point.
For better or worse, we will have a new coach in 2015.
Eh, yeah, I was grossly exaggerating when I said he's awful. I think he's awful from a leadership perspective... guy just doesn't care. But he's not an awful thrower.
