SR bowl week recap!

Damn that's pretty tight. I think he's good enough to go in the first round but would be a little high if we picked him. I would say if he's around in the 2nd we grab him but i doubt he will be around.

most mocks have him going anywhere from like 11-24 in the first round

I think his stock will rise enough that it will start to make sense to think of him with our 9th pick

And also OT is a very weak and limited position this year. Sam Baker and Jake Long would've changed everything but it seems like every year we have a high draft choice all the Jr. OTs who could go high stay in school for their senior year.

Who would you rather have? Ronnie Brown or D'Brickashaw Ferguson? I love Ronnie to death, he's my favorite player but at #2 overall he was costly.

You could also end up with Robert Gallery though.

I posted this in the other thread. A giant recap of the first day of senior bowl practices.

A couple of things of Note, Troy Smith looks great, Drew Staton sucks ( as expected ) and Chris Leak's arm strength is shocking people. No quarterback looked amazing, except for Troy Smith.

hey about ur sig w/ us picking u matt trannon.......did he announce he was going to the NFL or if he wanted to play in the NBA and if he does go to the NFl he seems like a pretty small tight end. He wasnt that big when i saw him in person and im 5' 7"

Even if Levi Brown raises his draft stock enough to warrant consideration at the ninth pick, I don't know if we should take him. Left tackle is definitely one of our biggest needs, but I'm not sure I see a franchise LT in him. Of course I wasn't a big fan of Marcus McNeil last year, needless to say I'd much rather have him than Jason Allen at this point.

As for Troy Smith looking amazing, I'm hoping he kind of dissapoints in the combine and could possibly fall to us in the second round. A lot of mock drafts picked us to take him in the first before his disastrous championship game. Honestly though, that whole team looked bad, you can't pin the loss solely on Smith.
