Cards' Han**** killed in car accident

Updated: Apr.29, 2007, 11:24 am EDT
ST. LOUIS (AP) -- St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Josh Han**** has been killed in a car accident, the team says. The Cardinals-Cubs game scheduled for Sunday night has been postponed.

Just terrible news. I remember Han**** when he was in the Red Sox farm system. And he pitched a few games with the Sox in 2002 before being traded to the Phillies for Jeremy Giambi. He also played on the Reds and obviously the Cardinals. A little weird fact/note, the Cardinals were also set to play the Cubs when pitcher Darryl Kyle died. I'm sure more details will be revealed as more information gets announced. Thoughts and prayers to Han****'s family and also the Cardinals.

Their saying on ESPNews he was drinking. When will people learn? I can honestly say that I've never driven drunk in my life. I've had a drink (or two tops and given myself plenty of time to be sober) but I've never been drunk behind the wheel. I don't know what his levels were but people just need to stop drinking and driving in general!

I'm not surprised. They said he drove into a tow truck on the side of the road with blinking lights. Once I heard that I had a feeling something was missing from the story.

May he R.I.P. and my prayers go out to his family and the entire Cardinals organization. :(

Bummer. Ive (stupidly) driven drunk before but luckily didnt hurt anyone or myself. Doesnt mean its right and I dont like testing fate but some of my friends do say I drive better inebriated :)

Hope Han**** RIP's and best wishes to his family and teammates.
