Prediction: Chargers 30, Dolphins 24
Comment: Vance Joseph has been masterful at masking some glaring defensive problems. Philip Rivers leads a pass heavy attack and could be better at getting to those weaknesses. He's also the fourth-most sacked quarterback this year, so this game could be decided by how well the Dolphins pass rush can protect the secondary.

Comment: The Dolphins have done an admirable job becoming relevant running the football, but the defense continues to struggle against the run. Pair Melvin Gordon's hot hand with Philip Rivers' clutch performances, and it's too much for this leaky defense to handle.

Comment: Does this new Dolphins blueprint for success travel, and can it work if they fall behind early? San Diego has the firepower to put up a couple quick touchdowns and put that to the test. If Philip Rivers can lure the Dolphins into a shootout, the Chargers have the edge.

Expected. Chargers could and probabaly should be 6-3. Melted down vs the Cheifs. COMPLETELY melted down vs the SAINTS. They do strugle in the red zone at times though, so if the Fins hold them
to FGs they got a good shot.

I think we split the two West coast games and get to 5 and 5

Probably beat LA but lose to San Diego.
 
I think we win both of these games if the O-Line stays healthy!

That's probably reality.

I prefer to take it one game at a time.

To win in San Diego we need to out physical them and win the line of scrimmage battle on both sides.

If our D-line can get to Rivers...and our O-line keeps Tanne clean.
..and Ajay rolling....we win.
 
If we split those two games it would be better if we beat SD of course as that's a conference game for tie break purpose of course

Effectively it is but it is possible to lose this game, miss the playoffs and still have a successful season. I'm not gonna act like this year is playoffs or bust. Next season is IMO. it would be nice to be ahead of schedule though

This isn't the prediction thread...why don't you go find it put it in there. I'm going to enjoy coming on here after Miami wins.

The all mighty chargers oh no! give me a break. Why don't you have some faith in your team, pretty pathetic how alot of you give up and have already excepted defeat .
