He has offers on the table, I feel he will be to much for us to sign.


TITANS MAKE OFFER TO STALLWORTH
Receiver Donte' Stallworth now has three offers, and could end up with more.
Per a league source, Stallworth has received a contract offer from the Titans. He previously has received offers from the Eagles and the Patriots.
Despite claims that the Eagles have not made Stallworth an offer, we're told he was offered a one-year deal, possibly with a value of $1.5 million.
Stallworth currently is visiting the Dolphins. Miami G.M. Randy Mueller drafted Stallworth when Mueller held the same position with the Saints.
And we're hearing that the 49ers are now interested in Stallworth. At this point, it has not yet been decided whether Stallworth will visit San Fran.
We'd previously heard that Stallworth planned to make a decision by Friday. The arrival onto the scene of the Niners could change those plans.

Bring in Kelly Washington.

Seems like other teams may throw more money at Stallworth.Unless, Mueller can convince him to play here.
 
i think im leaning towards kelly washington who will come cheap and has alot upside...I think he could develope into something special...

Let stallworth go..
 
Miami is about to sign Kelly Campbell. Sounds like the meeting with Stallworth didn't go well.
 
If we offer him a contract, I really hope they take into consideration the recent drug crap and they do not overpay him. If he wants a butt load of money...I would go with Kelly Washington...plain and simple.

Exactly. Washington would compliment Chambers nicely. Another deep weapon.

I think that is more ST related but I could be wrong. Doesnt hurt to have a stable of WR's. Can always use them elsewhere. Rather have to many than too few...ya know.
 
I wonder how they're wining and dining him today. A short run to Bimini to look over the documents over some rumrunners? Or just googling at the ladies on South Beach?
 
didnt Antonio Bryant get cut by the 49ers? he has some legal problems to take care of didnt get along with the coach in san fran...but i think he can be just as good of a wr as stallworth can be, and might come cheaper....thoughts?

From what I hear, he wasn't good enough in Dallas and not good enough to hack in SF.... I think he has issues. There are better quality players out there weather thru FA or the draft....IMO.

And, they could also cut him before 53 and he'd make bupkus.

Campbell is not a threat to Stallworth. He's merely fodder for the cannon.

Stallworth's hammies have ruined his career. Otherwise, he's a very legit deep threat.

I've been in slight favor of signing him the more I've thought about it. But, just hope we could figure out how to keep his conditioning problems away.
