Clearly a lot of question marks. I don't see Dielman being signed so that leaves someone else's garbage or the draft. If Ryan Kahil is there in the 2nd round.....we take him. Move Hadnot to guard. And I'm not even talking about our obvious need to improve at LT.

Any thoughts?
 
The only thing for sure to me is that I'd keep the right side of the line ,Shelton as RG, as he did a very good job there and Carey of course is the RT.

We still have a long way to go, free agency, draft, june 1st cuts, too early to tell bro

My thoughts are im worried. I know its early doors but with all the OL players we have released which imo were average at best then maybe we can replace them with like for like. Im all for drafting Kahil if he can step straight in. Carey was dumped for over a season on the bench and i know alot of ppl thought it was a mistake. Maybe Houck can work his magic with the likes of Alibi, Fonoti and Toledo but like u said...big question marks.
 
I think it would look something like that. I just read an article that said we are out of the running for Dielman, which is fine with me because I do not think that offensive lineman are worth what they are being paid now via free agency. I would like to see the Dolphins use at least two of there 2nd day picks on developmental offensive lineman. I have a lot of faith in Houck and Cam and, who knows, we might uncover a gem.
 
unless we trade down and get more later first round picks, then we are not getting Kahil
 
The Shelton experiment at LT was a mess. He has to stay at RG - look at what the FA guards are getting paid and he is a bargain! Keep him and Carey on the right side. Hadnot is a ? at center but for now you slot him there. You now have to build the left side. You have Alabi, Toledo and Fonoti as possibilities on the roster. You also have 4 months to pick up someone else. I hope they give Alabi a shot - he's been sitting for 2 years now. Toledo and Fonti are big guys. It looks like we are going youth and that is awesome - just like SD did and that turned out okay on the line. Dielman - 49M - that is beyond laughable!
 
I think if we continue our current course in FA a trade down in the draft is inevitable and we will build our OL though the draft. You can find average-solid gaurds in mid-late rounds and hopefully Kalil or a tackle will be had in the first 2 rounds.
 
Its Ok guys just be patient.besides any team getting guys this early are way overpaying
 
yea i think we are going to have to address this in FA and the Draft... i think we should still probably pick up some offensive linemen for a good price via FA and then we use our second for either Ryan Kalil or Joe Staley
 
If we trade down and get a second rounder, or if we get an early 3rd rounder for McMichael,Samson Satele will probably still be available and Doug Free will hopefully be their for the #71. I would like to see Manuel Ramirez in a Dolphin uniform as well. He may be the next Larry Allen.
 
The OLineman our just getting huge dollars in free agency now! So I am hoping Muellers works his magic through the draft and we find some steals in free agency to do good for us! If not things our looking a little shakey in improving that O-line but its still early!
