Practice Squad
I'm bored and a bit buzzed (excuse the spelling) and thought who would win if every starting qb for 2014 had to fight a one on one, hand to hand cage match to the death, based on the format of the world cup (btw I'm sure I stole this idea from somewhere, if anyone can find the original post to this please as it)? In this scenario, the group stage would be the top two winners from each division fighting in a round robin format. So i guess it really wouldn't be a fight to the death until a qb got out of the group stage. For the group stage we'll call it fight till the qb is knocked around enough to sue the nfl for concussion money. But after that its a fight to the death!
After the group stage, the remaining qbs are matched against the opposite seed from the other conference. So for instance the#1 seed from the AFC east would go against the #2 seed from the NFC east and vice versa. The two sides of the bracket beyond the group stage would look as follows:
I don't feel like making it neater. Anyways here's my opinion of who emerges from the NFC.
NFC East
Thoughts: woof not alot of fighting talent here
1: RG3 - He's the best athlete in this division
2: Foles - Based strictly on size alone
3: Romo - A bit too old to contend
4: Manning, Eli - Would place 30th out of the 32 qbs
NFC North
Thoughts: I might be completely wrong on Bridgewater
1: Cutler - Smokin' Jay Cutler
2: Stafford - Drunk southern frat boy will throw down
3: Rodgers - Too busy making commericials
4: Bridgewater - Don't trust his small hands
NFC West
Thoughts: Another weak group
1: Kaep - Most athletic of a weak group
2: Wilson - From Virginia (This scenario is heavily biased towards qbs from VA)
3: Bradford - Would hurt himself getting into the ring
4: Palmer - Still suffering from an injury getting into the ring from '04
NFC South
Thoughts: Finally a contender emerges
1: Newton - One of the largest fighters
2: Brees - Eye of the tiger
3: Ryan - Can only compete if he's allowed to bring Soliai
4: Glennon - No just no
