We all saw what Gus can do against a weak secondary, right? The Browns may be worse than the Pats. He would probably have another stellar day if healthy. If Sage starts, we don't know what we are getting. Hopefully, Cleveland is bad enough that it does not matter. But I would feel a lot more comfortable with Gus.

Funny things is alot of people think that Sage is good because of 2 deep passes... But you go to last year and look at the stats from his game he started, they are awful.
I want the team to win this weekend... But I'm not going to put undue expectations on him.

I'm not a big fan of Gus, but if I gotta pick Gus or Sage, then I say I'll help push the Gus bus...

Starting Sage may make us run the ball more, especially in the red zone, and that is a good thing.

That is NOT a given at all. Linehan will think they are not expecting pass and further they will want to see what he can do. I disagree, respectfully of course. I know what you are getting at, but it just might work against you.

He does seem to have that mindset. Just like the 1st and goal against NE pass, pass, pass, pass oh ****..

Yeah well to me that may be a problem Linehan has, trying to be cute and doing the "unexpected". Screw that, to win in football, a team has to do what it does best, and for the fins that is give Ronnie and Ricky the ball. As for seeing what Sage can do, he will have his opportunities no matter how committed they are to the run.

Pay Attention!

Are we all not aware that Gus is just a temporary fill in until we find a suitable starter thru a trade or draft pick? He was brought in by Saban just to fill a void during this rebuilding season. that's it! He probably won't even be with us next year. This year is over as far as the playoffs are concerned, so let Sage start so we know what we need to do next year as far as quarterback concerns.are we really concerned about losing to the Browns? The future, people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To go back to last years game Sage started and pass judgement on him is rediculas, he sat on the bench for 16 weeks and then gets a start against a good Ravens defense.

I remember that ravens game well. Sage was under a huge amount fo pressure from the ravens defense. Lets see what he does with time, a luxury gus has had most of the season and done nothing with.

Why Gus is starting. Coaches go with what makes them feel safest.

We all know Gus did not earn the starting spot in preseason, but Gus is the vet & Saban likes the idea of the vet being out there regardless of how much he has not done well.

Concerned if the Dolphins beat the Browns....I'm not going to lose sleep over it...but they should beat the Browns easily...regardless of whom the QB is.
If they could beat the Browns last season with A.J....and no o-line...no Ricky...I shouldn't expect less with more now.
