stat that hopefully changes

Well come on now, 7 of those points the defense had nothing to do with when Porter returned an INT for a TD.

No worries; we are not going to give up an average of 28 points per game this year. Maybe the niners, Packers, Raiders, or Texans will. And as previous post pointed out actually 21 on the D. The stat will improve very soon over the next three games.

It's one game.
we didnt do to bad for the first game of the season.we were playing the superbowl champs in their house.so we didnt do to bad

Yeah we may have had a lot of points scored on us, but at least our margin of defeat was a little more tolerable. Don't forget, 6 mins in the 4Q the score was showing Fins win. We could have been tromped like the Panthers, Packers, Tampa, etc. We honestly didn't do that bad, although I was very disappointed and think we could easily beat the Steelers on a good day.

The defense gave up an actual 21 points, on the road, against the defending Super Bowl Champions, and 7 of those points came on a freak play, and the guy who scored the touchdown stepped out of bounds before the endzone.

The sky is falling!!

No way our D gives up that many points very often. And D only actually gave up 21. Lets hope Daunte doesn't give up 7 any more this season too!

The truth is, that was a tough team to open with. Most teams need about two or three games to really get their offense going. If we would play them in week four, IMO we win.
