Stats for those who care...

Here are some of the breakdowns for Packer / Dolphin comparison if anyone cares. I look them up for every Packer game, so I just thought I'd post them here for all to see. All #'s taken from CNNSI.com

Records:
Packers 6-1 - 1st place NFC North
Dolphins 5-2 - 1st place AFC East

Total Offense:
Packers - 8th
Dolphins - 15th

Total Defense:
Packers - 12th
Dolphins - 14th

QB Comparison:
Brett Favre: 1,706 yards / 14 TDs / 3 INTs / 102.0 rating
Jay Fiedler: (6 games) 1,289 yds / 9 TDs / 6 INTs / 88.5 rating
Ray Lucas: He was not listed in the top 30 QB's, so I don't have his stats

RB Comparison:
Ahman Green: (6 games) 640 yards / 4.5 avg / 4 TDs
Ricky Williams: 711 yards / 4.4 avg / 6 TDs

Top Receiver Comparison:
Donald Driver: 527 yards / 5 TDs
Randy McMichael: 327 / 4 TDs

I couldn't find any Miami receiver with more yards than McMichael, so that's what I went with.

Here's a stat for ya.

Miami Dolphins record VS. GB Pack: 9-1

HA

"Here's a stat for ya.

I wasn't trying to show that the Packers are a better team by posting those stats. I actually think the teams are pretty even. I just post them for every game.
Also, I think lifetime records between teams are irrelevant. These are 2 teams that have never played each other IMO. New players = new teams. I will say that the Dolphins beat the Pack 2 years ago, and that stat is relevent. So I'll give you 1-0. That was a heartbreaking loss too, blowing a 17-0 lead.
The only time I care about lifetime records between teams is division rivals like Packers - Bears, otherwise it means nothing.

Should be a good game. Both teams are in the top 5 in the NFL IMO.

any cheeseheads know Cris Carter's stat's ag. you ? Or generally whether he toasted you or not ?

Just curious since he played ag GB so much - not that we have a QB to throw it to him :rolleyes:

true, just saying, Pack is notorious for screwing up games against Miami. Here's hoping it's a good one, but better for us.

Typical moron who hangs out here way past his due. This one is like an ingrown hair that just don't go away. Just as annoying.:rolleyes:

Where are you on this list MarinoFan??

AND I've pledged $5/Fish loss ($15 after GB)

Before you call someone a moron........how about donating a few $$ to AJ!!

Oh....I know why...you are a 14 y/o not even close to frickin puberty. Go watch SpongeBob or something

Hey, I got a baby on the way, and every freaking dime counts right now. You should be donating, you are on here all freaking day. Regardless, I never called you a moron, you are simply an idiot.

someone asked about Carter vs GB

Here's some info about Carter vs. GB. As far as stats go, all I could find was the last 2 years. Carter usually plays solid against the Pack, but doesn't really light it up. Here are the stats:

2000
@Lambeau
5 catches for 59 yards - 1 TD
@Metrodome
7 catches for 91 yards - 1 TD

2001
@Metrodome
3 catches for 60 yards - 1 TD
@Lambeau
1 catch for 11 yards - 0 TD
