The Steelers are not afraid to pass the ball at the end of the game and leave time on the clock. They dont play scared like we do. Sparano would have ran the ball 3 times and punted the ball, only to have the other team come down and score etc...

They got big balls and thats why they win!! Congrats to the Steelers and their fans. Amazing organization from top to bottom, and some of the best fans out there!!

BTW, i love the fact that the Jets are blinded by Mark Sanchez and dont realize he is worse than Henne. He has a great team but can barely get the ball over the defensive line. He is a punk and will never win!! Fk him, Fireman Ed, Rex Flinstone and that dancing queen Jason Taylor... :3w:

I can't believe we're blinded by 20 for 33, 233 yards and 2 TDs (a 102.2 rating) against the #1 defense.

Totally agree with putting the game in the hands of your 2 time SB QB winner. Great play design, rolling out to the right to avoid middle pressure. If the throw is open, go for it, if there is nothing there stay in bounds and take more time off the clock. That is how you win championships Tony! Of course you do need a QB...

LOL @ this jet fan taking time out of watching his team lose to come to a MIAMI DOLPHINS board..out of all boards he comes here..GTFO

That's one of the reasons. The other is, they actually converted! Seriously, if they don't, the same people that praise them would be bashing them... no, not "them", just Tomlin.

But it was the right decision, I think. You're trading about 45 seconds for a chance to end it right there and then. But the reason I think it's a good call is that those 45 seconds wouldn't have improved the Jets chances by that much. It would still be a longshot: under 2 minutes, no timeouts against the Steeler defense, at least 80 yards to go, and a QB who had been playing well but who's known for making horrendous throws and boneheaded decisions when you least expect it.

Still, it takes courage to make the call and Tomlin did, so kudos to him.

Nice try but the #1 Defense was at home for the playoffs, and Pittsburgh was 12th against the pass. Congrats on Jets being the best AFC loser for the 2nd consecutive season.
