We won't get the wildcard. We either win the east or miss. (IMO)
 
So with tiebreakers, are we now ahead of the ravens for the wild card?
 
Ravens with the ball down by 4 i pitt territory
 
Ravens need to lose out for it to matter in regards to us only falling to a WC if we lose to the Jets(and beat KC.) They got Dallas and JaX next.

if they only lose 2 of 3 they'd be 10-6. and if we lost 1-3 we'd be 10-6. they have tiebreaker as we all know.

whats the scenario for the other wildcard spot with indy? If they lose out and we win 1 of the next 2 we'd have a chance to take their spot as well right? depending on what new england does of course
 
We need Dallas to beat Baltimore next week, and us get a win over KC. Then we're really in good shape.
 
so the next 2 weeks it's still possible for us to get a wildcard spot EVEN if we lose to the Jets as long as indy and baltimore lose both? or do we own the tiebreaker against indy?
 
No way Bmore loses to Jax in week 17, especially if they're playing for their wildcard lives. Sorry guys, I'd love to have a wildcard scenario in the backpocket, but the chance is super slim.
 
The scenerio that realistically opens up from the Ravens dropping a game is that it strengthens NE's chances to grab a wildcard spot. It really dosnt help us at all. What it may mean is that NE will be traveling to miami in the first round of playoff game. Instead of Baltimore.

Anything happens on Sunday and it's only 2 games though, our chances aren't all that insanely slim, Jax might be fired up to play spoiler to a playoff team on their last game and play a tough physical game

I don't see how you can say that when if they lose their next 2 games and we only win 1of2 we will take their spot. (as long as new england loses 1 game of 2).

It's only 2 games..... and it's the NFL, 2 game losing streaks are not un-realistic at all

You don't have confidence Barfolo will beat New England in the season finale???? :lol: :rolleyes:
 
As others have said, it doesn't do much to help us. We lose the tiebreaker with Baltimore because they beat us head to head. Baltimore is better than Dallas, but they could lose that game. They won't lose to Jacksonville. They'll be 10-6, at the worst. To beat them, we need to win both remaining games. And if we do, we win the division, not the wildcard.
