I listened to the whole phone interview. I have to say, either this guy is a great spin artist, or he is a logical, solid guy.

When asked about parcells he said there is "nothing to work out" because as far as most ppl are concerned he didnt say he was leaving.

I loved how he has a meeting scheduled for friday to go over things with Tony, Jeff, and Bill, he seems very interested in whats going on HOWEVER

he kept making it very clear that he would not control or take an active hand in the football side of things, he also cleared up the peterson speculation and i like how he kind of said it in a matter of fact way. Like he realized how ridiculous the media can be and got a laugh out of it.

He seems very up on his facts sports wise and likes to refer to himself as a fan. I see this guy loving how things are going on the football side and looking to keep it that way, i also see him making some cool improvments on the buisness side as far as marketing merchandising, game experience etc.

Overall so far i think he sounds like a logical guy who really might be good for this organization. I think he realized "if its not broke, dont fix it" and he really wants to take advantage of the football success by making the buisness side better, nothin wrong with that...

what are your thoughts??

as long as he doesn't try to be like Jerry in Dallas and thinks he can put his hands in the football side of the house just cause he's the owner, then i guess i'll be ok with him...

I listened to the whole interview myself. I really like what he had to say. Funny how everyone came to a conclusion about Ross so quick. I withheld my judgement though. Can't say anything about him if you don't know him. But after hearing his interview, I don't feel too bad about having him as the owner. He let it be known that he has no intentions of signing Peterson. He also said that he will spend as much on players as need be, stating that Parcells knows what he's doing so if Parcells wants a guy signed, he's willing to pay. Basically said he'll let Parcells run the football side of the things, and he'll handle the business side. I loved the fact he kept referring himself as a fan. So far I like him.

i am just like you.... i withhold my thoughts until i get the full picture...

right now i am very calmed and enjoyed what i heard, like what we are doing and where we are heading....

now i wont say nothing till i see how he performs throughout the season!!! but i do like so far!!!

I think a lot of people jumped too conclusions too quickly on Stephen Ross, granted there were concerns with some of the rumors going around. However, I think it would be fair just to let things play out when it comes to this new owner. When you have a "Jerry Jones/Dan Synder/Mark Cuban" type of owner, you can usually tell right away. I never got that feeling with Ross.

My thought on Ross...

He seems way past his prime, plus not sure if he can play either the offensive or defensive line position. [he needs to put on more weight] Plus he is not quick player either, so I do not see him playing WR or DB. [both are need positions]

On a positive not he does have a better arm, then Chad Pennington but do you think he ready to play QB in the NFL?

Now those are my thoughts on Ross!

What Stephen Ross is a owner? Well let's give him some time and watch what he does over the next couple of year's.
