I listened to the whole phone interview. I have to say, either this guy is a great spin artist, or he is a logical, solid guy.
When asked about parcells he said there is "nothing to work out" because as far as most ppl are concerned he didnt say he was leaving.
I loved how he has a meeting scheduled for friday to go over things with Tony, Jeff, and Bill, he seems very interested in whats going on HOWEVER
he kept making it very clear that he would not control or take an active hand in the football side of things, he also cleared up the peterson speculation and i like how he kind of said it in a matter of fact way. Like he realized how ridiculous the media can be and got a laugh out of it.
He seems very up on his facts sports wise and likes to refer to himself as a fan. I see this guy loving how things are going on the football side and looking to keep it that way, i also see him making some cool improvments on the buisness side as far as marketing merchandising, game experience etc.
Overall so far i think he sounds like a logical guy who really might be good for this organization. I think he realized "if its not broke, dont fix it" and he really wants to take advantage of the football success by making the buisness side better, nothin wrong with that...
what are your thoughts??
