Stephen tulloch to be released! Lets get some downhill guys in here .

MARCH 13: The Lions say they “have nothing to announce today” regarding Tulloch’s roster status, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press (Twitter link). Tulloch has a $500K roster bonus due today, so if Detroit doesn’t confirm his release today, it’s possible that he’ll stick around.

Well he's over 30 so he would fit in with our "building for the long haul" and current "youth" movement.
 
An 8 year vet brings more to the table than a 23 year old college kid that wont be ready for 2-3 years.
As long as he is healthy. At 30 he is in his prime.
 
He's the same age as Mario... It couldn't hurt to bring him in as a stop gap and let some of the kids we draft develop, instead of throwing them to the wolves to fail. He's a proven vet and could be reunited with Suh. This team could use more leadership in the locker room anyways, and to be perfectly honest, we of all teams are in NO position to be picky towards anything resembling a starting caliber linebacker...
