I just heard on the NFL Network, that the Dolphins need to win out, and need some help to get in.

I read a post on here, forget who said it, but if we won out, we'd get in, which is not true.

If Baltimore wins out, and the Patriots win 1, we're out.

Baltimore wins out, they get the division, and we have the tiebreaker over Cincinnati. So we get in.

I don't think Baltimore beats the Patriots though, Patriots rarely ever loses two in a row.

And they are wrong. We win out and we are in. If Ravens win out then they win division and we own the tiebreaker against the Bengals. These idiots actually get paid for not knowing s**t about their own profession? Amazing

Thanks, I keep forgetting that.

D-1 -- bro, bro, BRO!

You had this explained to you by multiple people on this board. Dolphins win two they are IN. Baltimore plays Cinci the last game of the season. Loser goes home if Miami wins out.

Thanks JCFin, I started getting worried.

For the love of God -- and hopefully the last time -- THIS.

Both Baltimore and Miami can make the playoffs. If the Dolphins win out, then it's possible for Baltimore to be 9-6 and Cincy to be 10-5 when they play in week 17. If Baltimore wins, Cincy would be 10-6 and we have the tie breaker over them. If Baltimore loses, they're 9-7.

Why oh why is this so complicated? Seriously, using a computer to access the internet and type out words and sentences is more complicated than this.

Yes, I did, but when I heard it again just now, that the Dolphins need some help and win out, is a half truth.

Someone has to win and lose out, but most importantly, we must win our next 2.

I'd rather hear the networks say, if the Dolphins win out, they're in, by virtue of blah, blah, blah.

All if heard is the Dolphins need help.

The best scenario would be Miami winning out, NE losing both, Cincy winning one and Baltimore winning out. This knocks NE out of the playoffs altogether giving the Phins the AFC East.

There will be another thread Monday.
