I see that Steve Breaston is a RFA at year's end. He is young and could possibly come here and be our #1. My question to you all is what do you think Arizona will tender him at or will they lock him up long term? If the latter happens will Boldin then become easier to obtain?

Next year in the grand 3 year plan I always hear about we we need a #1 receiver. I see a lot wanting to draft a receiver in the first round, but we need to draft defense heavily and no receiver will be ready that quickly.

If anything I think they will get rid of Boldin before losing Breaston. They know what they have in Breaston. Probably a long term lock up coming soon.

And Breaston has some rapport with Henne from their college days.

Yea, I like the idea of Breaston, but who knows...I say if they can't get Dez Bryant, go after Breaston...

you dont think breastons success has anything to do with having the best WR in the NFL on one side and a top 5 WR on the otherside, with a hall of fame QB throwing him the ball....common now hes good dont get me wrong but if we are going to go after a #1 and have a big signing at WR....Steve Breaston is not the guy hes 6'0 189 thats not exactly your moss, owns.fitzgerald, boldin, andre johnson calvin johnson type

Steve Breaston is not a number one. He is a role player. If we go for a receiver we need to go for Vincent Jackson, or I'd settle for Boldin.

I thought I read somewhere that Miles Austin is a FA. I could see Tuna wanting to bring him in.

No I don't. The fact that he had 1000 yards as a 3rd receiver, and watching him play, tells me that he could be an excellent #2, or even a #1 on other teams.

He's a very dynamic player and a great receiver., I think those two other guys took catches and opportunities AWAY from Breaston-- and he still had over 1000 yards receiving last yr.

If I had a choice right now, I take Breaston over Boldin.. Breaston is young, has more upside, is faster, and isn't injury prone all the time like Boldin.

And size isn't everything.. Reggie Wayne is about the same size and he is fine as a #1 receiver.

This. O Noes he isn't 6'3" so he isn't a #1 receiver! Give me a break. Anybody who has seen Breaston play can tell you he has a lot of talent. To put up 1000 yards as the 3rd WR is impressive. 1 thing is quite obvious, he'd be the best WR on this team, and he's a good PR as well.

I DON'T KNOW

4 tds in 38 games

is that true #1 wide receiver quality???

Call me crazy, but did you happen to notice he has two pro bowl receiver playing in front of him... call me crazy, but that should stand for something, no?

Breaston is not a #1 people.
Damn man, how come EVERYONE here thinks any good WR can be our #1.
can't stand finheaven sometimes

that would be awesome but i do not know if jerry jones will get rid of him now

I was hoping that Ware would not have signed with Dallas again so soon. Was hoping it was going to go into the offseason not being signed so that way they would have to hopefully Franchise him and we could of had a better shot at Miles Austin. If Dallas can not sign him I think they might Franchise him.
