Steve Smith Angry With Madison

He must be related to ESPN's Steven A. Smith.

"Bottom line, he's a punk," Smith said. "I won my war and that's it. I don't have nothing more to say."

DOLPHINS 27
CAROLINA 24

Last time I checked it was still a TEAM game Steve???

Tell the same thing to Madison who seemed to worry about his "trash Talking" award than trying to win this game :shakeno:

I like SteveSmith he just wants to win doesnt matter how many yards he puts up true leader
stand up guy IMO

Hmmmm, trying to not take the homer slant here, but this is the third person I have heard Stee Smith go after in the media. Seems to me like Steve Smith needs to grow the hell up. This isn't any gangbanger arena. If I recall correctly, he had troubles his rookie year and that's why he only returned kicks. Also, 2 years ago I think he went off at the mouth in the media about the Carolina organization. This was before he was a #1 player for them, but after he showed some skills (read: he thought more of himself than others did at that point).

that story is pathetic on both sides - Madison blew so much coverage that game, and Steve Smith pretty much made Madison his b@#ch.... yet he complains about something so inconsequential at the end of the game?

they may have talent, but they are both losers.

well he returned the opening kickoff of his rookie season for a touchdown. i guess that inflated his ego just a bit

Hmmm, yep a 4 time pro-bowler is a joke. Maybe a joker but not a joke. And that piece is incorrect, Madison wasn't on Smith most of the day.

NEWSFLASH! Madison talks trash! NEWSFLASH!

What's new, honestly? Madison has always been known to trash talk and be aggressive. Saban addressed this in the post-conference, and pretty much laughed it off saying how he liked how he was being aggressive (although didn't like the penalties.) While I don't agree with the late hit out-of-bounds, we aren't playing tiddly winks here. You get the ball thrown to you 15+ times and you are going to get hit. I'd like to think harder than usual when you are playing the Dolphins :D

LOL. Looks like Mad-man got into his head...but getting into Steve Smith's head only seems to make him better. Still, judging by how upset Smith was, I have to believe that somewhere along the line, Smith was too angry to do something he would normally have done.

One thing you notice about these personal fouls is I don't think Saban minds them. He teaches his players to finish every play and sometimes that means after the whistle or after they go out of bounds. I think he is willing to accept a few 15 yard penalties a game in order to get into the other team's head.
