Really? Tony is a yes man & people pleaser. He obviously can't put together a crack staff or develop players.

A good example of a straight shooter that is rough around the edges is up in Foxboro wearing a hoodie.

I think you have to take a look at the competition the Bengals faced this pass season
to get an outlook on how the defense performed.

The Bengals wins came against teams with a combined record of 43-85
They only beat 1 team with a winning record Tennessee at 9-7
You could make a point that Buffalo was the best offensive team that they beat

Cincinnati beat

Arizona..24th in pts scored..19th in yrds..17th in passing yrds...24th in rushing yrds
St.Louis.32nd in pts scored..31st in yrds..30th in passing yrds...23rd in rushing yrds
Clev......30th in pts scored...29th in yrds..24th in passing yrds..28th in rushing yard
Cleveland was beat twice
Tenn.....21st in pts scored...17th in yrds..12th in passing yrds...31st in rushing yrds
Seat.....23rd in pts scored...28th in yrds..22nd in rushing yrds...21st in rushing yrds
Indy.....28th in pts scored...30th in yrds..27th in passing yrds...26th in rushing yrds
Jacks...29th in pts scored...32nd in yrds..32nd in passing yrds...12th in rushing yrds
Buff.....14th in pts scored...14th in yrds...15th in passing yrds...13th in rushing yrds

I think Cincinnati's defense was vastly over rated this season
and only performed as it did due to the incredibly easy schedule
it had against teams with terrible offenses

Should Zimmer get credit this season for this defense
or should the NFL for the easy schedule??
 
Can you tell why the last three years he has been there, the D has played very well?

Can you tell me any player on that defense that would interest you in adding to our team?

Last time I checked, Zimmer does not set the sked and plays whoever is on it.
