Still A SLIM Chance...Win Out!!

We have a slimmer chance of making the playoffs this year than we did last year. Its not going to happen. We arent even playing that well despite the win streak.
As a good buddy told me, I have a better chance of hitting the Powerball, and I don't buy tickets.

If that happens, at least the season gets interesting. Cincinnati, with Burrow back, is a completely different team. Tampa Bay and New England look like losses, on paper, but you never know.

If Miami runs the table, no one would want to face them in the playoffs.
They would if Tua's starting.

If our Dolphins win out the remainder of our schedule and we see other outcomes, in other games (unfold to our favor), we STILL have a slim chance of getting into the playoffs this season (fat chance I know).

The following is an AI analysis...

All else equal (no specific help assumed): Around 20%. This accounts for baseline simulations where other teams play out average outcomes, but Miami's tiebreakers (e.g., conference record, head-to-head losses to teams like the Bills and Ravens) and the strength of the AFC make it an uphill battle.

With favorable help: Up to 54% or higher. This scenario requires specific losses by key rivals, such as: Jaguars losing to the Titans (Week 13) and Jets (Week 15) to cap Jacksonville at 9-8.

Bills losing to the Patriots (Week 15) to finish no better than 10-7, where Miami could edge them on tiebreakers.

Chargers losing to the Eagles (Week 14) and other wild-card hopefuls stumbling.
Texans and Colts faltering in the South race, potentially finishing 9-8 or worse.

Who's to know what can STILL happen even though our chances, right now, are slim? 🤔

Believe, my brothers...believe!!
GO DOLPHINS!!!
I'll tell you what I believe...McD is who he is, based on what he's shown us for nearly 4 seasons. And that's nowhere near good enough. We've even had to firmly add Tua to the list this season.

I'll eat a murder of crow if they make the playoffs, not too worried.

The fun part of the win streak is the team is finding a physical identity on both sides of the ball and ways to win ugly imo.

Hopefully, this style should travel better in the December elements as well.

Be nice if we could average more than one complete game a year

I don’t think we should discount winning all our forthcoming games with the possibility of a play off berth.
I think we should keep Chump as GM, Tua can regain his old form and McD can assemble a roster and playbook that should see us through to a Championship game or better next year.
I also think little green men run the government but sheep are in fact the master race, the moon is made of cheese and Ray R should come back.
The last one is nonsense.

Nurse, nurse my meds are wearing off

When you consider Tua having a bad season and the offense only having two quality starters in Waddle and Achane most of the season, it's amazing to think that despite it all we could easily be having a very different conversation right now. If the defense was playing the way they are playing now, earlier in the season, Miami doesn't blow the Panthers and Chargers games in the final minute and the Dolphins would be playing the Jets with a chance at having an 8-5 record. And don't forget the Patriots beat Miami due to a 100 yard kick return in the 4th quarter too. Not impossible to think we could be arquing that Miami might be the worst 9-4 team in history.
