If we win the games the games we should win and then +1 that makes 10 wins and more than likely a playoff birth. We are gonna have to have guys step up with Big A going down and Lamar being banged up.

Bills - we are a better overall team but they give us fits. But with neither of their running backs and Orton as quarter back hopefully we can rise up at home on prime time

Jets x2 - they suck this year and we should sweep them but they are still the jets and division games are always tough.

Vikings - Rookie QB, Probably without AP. Id say this one is a gimme. Hopefully Geno is back in for both these games.

That means we need one win vs. Baltimore/New England/Denver. Playoff teams have to be able to beat good teams and we can't the we don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

IDK about everyone else but i am keeping the faith..

Phins Up!!!

Just need to go 2-2 in the third quarter. And 3-1 in the fourth quarter, with 3 home games in December when I believe the heat and humidity advantage is at its highest. And I actually think we have a decent shot at beating New England too, to finish the season 5-0 and go into the playoffs super hot.

If there is one positive so far in our record this year is that we haven't lost to clearly inferior teams yet. Many thought at the time that the Chiefs weren't all that good because they came in 0-2 but they have proven to be good over time. Past Dolphin teams could be assured to drop a game to a scrub team (like last year vs Bucs). That fortunately hasn't been the case so far this year. That should give us some confidence that we can beat the likes of the Jets and Vikings quite easily. Unfortunately there aren't many "easy" wins on the schedule.

December? Heat and humidity down here?

Wait a minute lol.

Its all relative, and relatively speaking being 10-20% hotter is not a big deal for us northerners at the beginning of September, even though it is "hotter." In December the temperature difference will be over 100% and you go from literally freezing to pretty warm. But on top of that I think the mental distraction is where the real advantage is. The players that live in cold climates probably vacation in the Caribbean quite a bit, and traveling to Miami in December will feel like vacation time.

There is a reason Tom Brady has a terrible record in Miami in December, but not bad in September and October.

Its one of the perks of being a Miami fan living in Eastern Canada, we're traveling there to see a game in December in part to see a game and in part to get away from the cold.

Opponents on the horizon:

Denver
Baltimore
Buffalo
Jets (laugh if you want but they choked against them last yr with playoffs on the line)

I'll take anyone on for a vCash wager. < 10 wins imo

I just looked and Tom Brady has a 1-4 record at Miami in December. I believe the advantage is real. I believe its mental more than anything, I know when I step off the plane December 4th I'm going to feel like I just teleported into paradise. Boarding a plane where its brutally cold and stepping off a plane in the tropics is one of the greatest feelings in the world. Its one of the reasons I wouldn't want to live in the tropics full time, you would lose that appreciation for the heat.

I think this feeling has a great effect on a lot of the players that live in cold climates and even the great Bill Belichick can't overcome it. I think the Bills are going to play like **** Thursday night, and as long as we don't play like **** also we should beat them easily.

Lololololo

I dont get whats so funny. Beating the Jests 2x isnt exactly mountain moving, the Vikes arent good, and we barely lost to a Ravens team last year that is more than beatable. Sure, the Bills have given us fits, but home field Thursday night should be a nice boost. We have had the Pats number and I wouldnt be shocked if we go into NE and beat them. Denver, well thatll prob be an L.

So is beating the Jests 2x, Vikes PLUS
Winning 2 out of Ravens, Bills, Patsies that lol?

I dont think so. I think it is tough but then again unless you play the Raiders, Jags, and Jests every week the league is tough.

Hey, I'm doing the same thing. Stepping off the plane on December 4th for my first Dolphins home game ever, after 44 years as a fan!

The only other game I saw live was the Bills game in 2008. Had the time of my life, it would have been fun either way but I'm pretty sure winning made it a million times better. Here's to hoping its still a meaningful game, and we come away with the win!!!!

If the dolphins ever did what they're supposed to we'd win the east every year. I'm not holding by breaty for 10 wins. At this point just hoping RT survives the year.
