The ravens dont have an easy sched.. I mean Pitt will beat them. The Skins are a very solid team, and the Cowboys are dangerous.

The Jags are not good but they still can pull out a win.

I think its entirley possible the Ravens can lose 3 of 4. and if we win 3 of 4 brings us to 10-6 and the ravens to 9-7 giving us the upper hand.

I applaud the enthusiasm but it aint going to happen.
Baltimore area well balanced team and very strong o the D . They aint going to drop 3 of 4 .

I think we all need to concentrate on taking care of business on our own and not relying on other things to go our way.

Beat the Bills move on to next week.

They have to do it. Just so sick and tired of seeing the pats steelers and colts and any other teams fans celerbrating wins and playoff births why we as dolphins fans feel that painful pit inside our stomach ending the season without making the playoffs. Guys and gals wear your fins colors this weekend do what ever rituals you do before a game, if anyone has a birthday this week, wish for the dolphins to run the table, get the east title and win the whole DAMN THING! I love this team and when I bleed it's aqua and orange. Like Adrian said from Rocky II WIN WIN(key the Rocky music) then one of the best lines from the movie "Mickie says" what are we wating for "TAKE US" That's when the goose bumps kick in the Rocky traing music kicks in... it's great feeling! Got to love the undergdog. Go Fins!

I actually think Baltimore will drop 3 of the next 4 and miss the playoffs . . . Flacco is going to see 4 very interesting defenses in the next 4 weeks, I dunno, I guess I"m still not sold.

But even if they did lose 3 of the next 4 . . . thats not the only hurdle. We cant lose to Buffalo or NY Jets . . . and New England would still have to lose. Is it possible . . . of course . . . hell its possible for Miami win the AFC East at 9-7 . . . just because its possible, doesn't mean its going to happen.

Who needs a 6th wildcard spot, its possible to win the division

I'm a born pessimist , as you would guess , and i appreciate that it is possible.
My comments were more my own thoughts .

Flacco has shown some poise this year and they have successfully developed a good O plan around him that makes this Baltimore team very dangerous . (Boo Hiss CC actually shows what he can do right instead of the clusterf... of last year)

Im just trying to get us all to concentrate on our own business. Beat the Jills , lets get past them first. Its a huge game for them to, there season will be in the crapper if they dont.
Dont youthink the Patsie fans would like to be in our position in control of our own destiny, you betcha...

lol i actually meant to quote the OP . . . I think I quoted u because u spoke about Bmore also. I actually agree with you . . . we need to concentrate on Buffalo this week and get to 8-5 and try to win this division.

why?? what will happen if we don't? the Phins will lose if the fans aren't focused?

All we can do is hope the Phins win out....but we can't impact the outcome. So while we are hoping for Miami wins.....might as well hope for some other teams to lose just in case we can't finish the season on a 5 game winning streak.

What Im saying is that we still have different opportunities to make the playoffs.

AndI thought it was interesting looking at Batimores schded. They are paying some good teams.

I tried calculating the ways Miami can get a wildcard at 10-6 and gave up, because with four games to play there really are many combinations. It's clear that all of them seem "unlikely," but then again most people seemed convinced that Miami had little shot at the playoffs after the Patriot loss, and one week changed that. Not to belabor the obvious, but: we really just need to see how things play out this weekend and probably next week too, before we know how much of a longshot a 10-6 wildcard really is.

Just to illustrate how complex it gets, there's a way for Miami to finish tied with the Ravens and Colts and possibly still get a wildcard, odd as that sounds. It's very unlikely, but from what I can see it might be possible with a specific combination of wins/losses among all three, which would push the tiebreak to "strength of victory."

Plus, of course, the division winner could potentially end up at 10-6.

For the Ravens, this game vs the Redskins is the biggest. I think they will beat Washington and Jacksonville and possibly lose to Pittsburgh and Dallas. Philly was a huge dissapointment, they should have been able to give the Ravens a better game.

Colts have easy schedule and pristine Conf Record. They're 5 seed.

Ravens will win at least 2 (skins and jags), and have head to head with us if we don't win out(but if we win out, we get division, not wild card)

Plain and simple. Fins want to be in the playoffs, win out. Win out means we win the AFC East. We'll see what this team is made of down the stretch. Should win the next 3. Could set up a Jets game that will determine who wins the AFC East, in which case it will get flexed to SNF.

It was at least nice thinking playoffs so soon after that 1-15 season. GO FINS!
