i thought ronnie said last year he was working on eliminating that stupid little side juke move he does. he needs to seriously consider doing that because he is not barry sanders and this not college football. i wish he would use his power and start knockin people on their butts and quit dancing. i think if he could correct himself he could be a great back. it would be nice for him to solidify himself as our true#1, im really tired of us wasting picks on rbs because coaches arent sold on him.

7 games played.

85 Carries-461 rushing yards-5.4 yards per rush attempt
26 catches-280 receiving yards-10.7 yards per catch (good for a running back)

When are people going to stop the criticism?
"Aren't sold on him"
Stats don't lie.
Ronnie does the sidestep because it makes people miss. If he "use his power and start knockin people on their butts and quit dancing", He would get more wear and tear, as anyone else would. I don't think you are sold on him because you, like many others who criticize, are an armchair quarterback.
Ronnie did all of this behind a mediocre offensive line, so he did all of the work. He carried this team on his back and he never quit even when the team turned the ball over and he tore his ACL.

just keep healthy ronnie, we know what u can do . . . WHEN u are on the field.

I kind of agree with the OP. Yea Ronnie had some decent stats last year, but if you notice Ricky and Ronnie in preseason they're 2 completely different backs. Which is sort of surprising because physically they are so similar.

I just wish Ronnie would pound it in the hole a little more. Ricky will run in to the assigned hole first trying to bust it. if it's not there, then he looks for a different hole. No hesitation before the line.

Not really a 'get down' on Ronnie. Just something I noticed about hsi running style.

I love both rbs but you can't compare Ricky with Ronnie. Regardless what peoples personal opinions are of Ricky, he has a talent few rb's in this game have and it's playing well for him right now. That vision is what made Emmit Smith the back he is. Also Eric Dickerson was another that had great vision. I put Ricky right there with them.

Thanks 854. Those facts should put this short-lived "debate" to rest.

It won't. It's been going on since 2005, and it will never, ever, ever stop. Next up, Joey Porter, Channing Crowder, and Vonnie Holliday. All aboard!

If Satele doesn't stop adjusting his facemask right before the gd snap SO HELP ME GOD

lol decent? really? 2 WEEKS after being injured he STILL LED THE LEAGUE in yards from scrimmage...let me re-word that in case anyone missed the point...having played 2 games less than everyone else in the league, he STILL HAD MORE YARDS THAN ANYONE ELSE...yeah decent isn't really the word you want to go with there.

sold on a guy that gets hurt every season? yah he has nice stats for like 7 games, but has never played the whole year!

when was the last time anyone here put on a uni and went out during a profootball game and made it through a season without getting hurt

injuries happen .. what? ... you think the guy goes out and says i'm going to get hurt today and waste time on the sidelines with the rest of my team because thats what gives us the best chance to win .. how exactly do you control if you're injury prone .. he does everything a normal RB would do .. wait .. since everybody is so high(no pun intended) on ricky williams right now? what did he do in his first game back? GOT HURT .. thats it .. run him out of town .. he stinks? SERIOUSLY?

oh and one more thing .. when a guy has to carry the weight of the entire team on his back with no supporting cast for way too long .. i think he'd take his share of bumps and bruises

Ronnie is a great player. But he can not complete a season without injuries. The guy is injury prone. Broken hand, acl tear and now a sprained thumb. How the F*** do you come out of a game with a sprained thumb. Kids gotta show me some courage and guts...
