I cannot believe all the doom and gloom on the board. WE RAN WITH THE SAINTS! We pushed them to the limit. Come on last week the Saints DESTROYED the Giants. We came out strong and fizzled out. We are not an Elite team, yet. But, we are on our way.

3 games in a row we scored 30+ points and we still don't have a #1 WR. Next year we add a #1 WR, some LBs, and fix the safety issues. IMHO the Offense is VERY close to being really good if not great. The Defense has holes, but those can be fixed. Stop the Doom and Gloom we took the saints to the limit, created turnovers, scored points, and I LOVED all the different looks/movement/pressure the Defense put on Brees. Yes we lost, but ALL IS NOT LOST. I for one am VERY optimistic about our future.

GO PHINS!!!! Let's beat down the the Jets again next week and go to 3-0 in the division.

Agreed. Not too many people even gave the Fins a chance against the Saints and look what we did. Hey, its a game and we let it out of our control and hands. GO FINS!!!

If they don't have a serious sit down with the play callers and bench Ginn, all is lost. The Fins best chance all season was going to be a wild card but if they drop games they are winning by 3 TD's they've got NO CHANCE of the WC.

It's just that simple. You have to win games. There are no moral victories, which is what you're counting this as.

It was a humiliating defeat brought on by the men with the fancy headsets.

um.

they lost. they lost badly. they proved that they dont have what it takes to win big games.

the only positives in the game was Ricky Williams, and the D in the first half.

optimism about the future? heard that since I saw Marino against Oakland in 83.

Sorry but this is old, very old.

While I love your optimism, moral victories are weak to hang your hat on. You want the W, period. With that said, there is still only 2 1/2 games separating first and last in the AFC East. The division is hardly wrapped up by anyone, and we are now in the meaty part of the season. If you guys start winning the close ones, you have a shot, but that's a tall order with a rookie QB, suspect secondary and WR corp. If you get better play out of them, you have a shot.

This team is still a year away. They played two of the NFL's best in indy and no. They gave both of them the toughest games they have played all year. That dosnt make the losses any easier, but it shows that no team can take us lightly. We can hang with anyone. These losses also showed us we still have huge holes at wr, and safety. I still feel confident in Henne, he had a good game to bad his wr didn't help him a little more today. Brown and Williams are studs who are right at the top of the list at their position. All around we have good, young talent that should make us a very good team in a year, just need to fill a few holes on both sides of the ball.

Limit? 2nd Quarter?

MIA is a team with many holes.

Is MIA as good as you want them to be? Or as good as they are?

The holes in MIA's scheme are glaring!

Yes, the limit. It took them until the 4th quarter to get a lead and NO team has done that to the Saints this year.

I never thought this team was Super Bowl Bound this year or even winning a Playoff game. I just wanted us to improve and build a winning team for the future. This is what the Trifecta is doing. I guess I am an optimist/realist and I think we have the building blocks. This team is being built the right way IMHO and we will be a real force in the seasons to come.

we're still a few years away from being a realistic contender. a #1 WR would fix so many of the problems in the passing game - we need one in a big way.

the defense has more issues. a stud ILB is a must as is a true cover safety. parcells thought the pass rush was going to be consistently insane so he took a gamble and decided to start two SS's - and that didn't work out. another OLB and NT will be needed soon as well. this next draft better be almost exclusively defense.

I also believe we could be close to having a very good offense, but...

I'm still not completely sold on the OL; I'm bothered by their inconsistency. I was hoping the Jets game was a turning point were we would see that though, nasty OL that could also pass block but they regressed somewhat.

Ronnie will be a Dolphin for at least one more season, do we resign him? If not, that could really reshape our offense. Ricky's contract ends after this season I believe, but I think we will resign him.

Can we find that number 1 receiver? The draft is always a crapshoot. Will the organization risk a big contract on a free agent?

The defense needs a lot of work.. Honestly I dont believe we can address half of it in one year, unless we have the draft of a lifetime.

NO outscored MIA from the 6 MIN mark in the second quarter.

MIA isn't built to win a shoot out, regardless what some here might think. When faced against a ELITE qb, MIA loses! NO finally decided to execute what they seen on TAPE, use your TE!. That is a glaring hole, nothing new! Chowder and Gerbil got exposed yet AGAIN!

That game had too many plays decided by the refs...Bess' fumble before halftime (which changed the game around) was questionable...the TD the saints got before halftime should'nt have happened since he was down at the 1 which means the clock should have started once the ball was set therefor expiring with only one second left...Sharpers INT should have been a touchback...Reggie Bush's td was questionable...just terrible.

All is not lost yet, but so far this season they've squandered the best rushing attack in the league and the #3 run stopping defense. If only the little girls in the secondary knew how to cover and tackle and their receivers weren't afraid of people breathing on them, they'd be set. Something always seems to be missing from this team.

Starting to sound like a Jest Fan.

MIA had a 21pt. lead. MIA lost it!
