Seriously, lets face it....... NOBODY on here "Knows" who the #1 pick will be or who the best player is going to be. We all just have opinions and wishes and that's it!!! I happen to think that Miami should and will take Jake Long, but that Darren Mcfadden is the best player in this draft. Now does that mean either are true........NO! It's nice to say who you want Miami to take because of this, this, or that, but the fact is NOBODY, I repeat NOBODY knows squat right now. Nobody even really knows whether or not Ireland and Co. know for sure who they want at #1. My point is all these opinions are great but come on, lets be real that's all they are is just opinions and none of them are any more or less valid than anyone elses. I've just seen too many posts with people acting like they were 100% sure they know what is going to happen. Some of you will end up being right but if you are it will have been no more than a lucky guess.......
 
The #1 pick don't never come around to us. What this is the 2nd or 3rd time in our history. Hopefully we won't get it again so let us argue, debate, or fight all we want to on this rare occasion please. No matter who it is, us true Dolphin fans will deal with it anyway and if they don't work we will all hate who we picked.:up:

The strange thing about message boards is...
someone posting on here will be 100 sure and 100 percent correct.

And believe it or not, thats one of the best things about message boards.

Making an argument for a certain player is one thing, but pretending that you really know for a fact what will happen, or who will be the best is another. I guess you're right though...... be confident in your statements, Even though it won't help them come true, lol.

The draft is always a crapshoot anyway. It just happens that all eyes are on us and we have a shot to get a new franchise player or bust trying.
 
Nope, I know we're taking Vernon Gholston. lol. Just kidding, your right no one does really know, but it's fun to argue for the person that you like the best. In my case, I of course like Gholston.

Actually, this is our first, and hopefully last, time picking #1 overall. Let's hope we pick up a stud instead of a dud (cough...Matt Ryan;))

:lol: I thought someone said we got one in our franchises innagural season or something. Anyways it's the first in my lifetime and hopefully the last.
 
I believe the Dolphins will take DE Chris Long with the number one overall pick. Do I KNOW that they will take him with that pick? Absolutely not. However, half the fun is debating about who's going to be number one! Well, except all of that Matt Ryan garbage. That just causes headaches.
 
how do all these draft form threads keep getting left in the main forum?

Funny you say that I took a LONG crap the other day, I figure that was a sign that were taking one of the LONGS for sure.:lol:

At this point, I would doubt that Ireland and Parcells could tell you 100% certain who they're going to take. There's always more film to study and reviewing of the interviews and who knows what they'll see that could cause them to change their minds for or against a player.
