Did anyone see Green play last year? He is 37 years old way past his prime. Why in the world would we put him on the field over lemon or a rookie??? Do NOT tell me veteran presence. That's the same as putting a grandpa in at quarterback...hes screwed. Especially behind this oline, DO NOT TRADE ANY MORE DRAFT PICKS FOR QUARTERBACKS!!! Please Mueller, learn from wanny and saban. Wannstedt traded a 2nd for AJ Feeley....look how that worked out. Saban traded for 2 quarterbacks that he thought had potential but both sucked do to injuries or just no talent (harrington).

This is getting out of hand. Keep the quarterbacks on your roster. Let them battle it out for the starting job and draft a rookie some time in the first 4 rounds that we can groom!!! If you really want to use that 2nd on something, use that 2nd to trade up to the 6th pick if Brady Quinn is still around.

Do you see the Bears or Chargers trading for quarterbacks??? Nope. The chargers drafted a couple by the names of Drew Brees and Phillip Rivers and put themselves in position to be successful. The Bears did not have stellar quarterback play but are content with grossman at qb until they can draft one themselves. If you surround your quarterback with talent, they can succeed. YOU DON'T HAVE TO TRADE FOR WASHED UP QUARTERBACKS THAT YOU WILL END UP DROPPING AFTER 1 or 2 CRAPPY SEASONS>

ALL ABOARD THE " LETS DRAFT OUR OWN QUARTERBACK" campagn!!!!

I would prefer to draft a QB but I don't want him to start. I would rather he sit for a year or two. I've seen too many rookies start from day one and get ruined. (Ryan Leaf, Heath Shuler, Rick Mirer, David Carr, Joey Harrington to name a few). Even Marino sat for the first 4 or 5 games before he became starter.

So what's your plan at QB?

Start Lemon and a rookie for a backup? That's insane.

culpepper for a couple games then give lemon his chance. stanton/edwards could come in week 8 or 9. If tom brady could do it as a late rounder, these guys could do it as a 3rd rounder

I think that's a great plan. Let's say we end up drafting Quinn or Stanton (or whoever is flavour of the week in the draft at the moment), Culpepper starts and we have Lemon as the primary backup. Whats wrong with that? Please god keep Trent Green away from Miami, the only reason he should come is to buy a retirement condo.

green will be an upgrade over any quarterback we have had in this organization since dan marino

I've seen this same post each year and we still suck @ QB. :rolleyes2

Let's get a franchise QB, heck, I'd be happy with one that could last 2 years.

I Dont disagree with what you said but actually the Chargers traded for Phillip Rivers.

i agree i'm tired of the dolphins trading for qbs feely, c-pep, harrington, but i would have to say green would be the best one out of all of em the thing is there gonna cut him, we can sign him. i wish we just drafted a qb years ago we probably wouldnt be were we are now. but with our team continuing to age the time is now.

my opinion
trade for green but do not release c-pep( if we cant afford that then no green)
first pick draft laron landry or levi brown if there there( if we dont trade for green and quinn is there we have to take him)
we have a lot of draft picks spread that out to make our defense younger and get at least 1 o-linemen and draft a RB

No! I completely DISagree. We are looking for a legitimate "backup" QB. I'm not for drafting a QB. Carr is better than anything we can draft in the 4th round.

I hope you aren't for trading up for Quinn after we sent a 2nd round pick to MIN for DC and haven't given him his chance?

Heck no on the draft a QB. We can send a 4th to HOU for Carr. I'm definitely for that.

We can't have a starting schedule. Give the ball to Culpepper or Green (whoever our QB is) and if they succeed then great, keep them at the helm. Waiting behind one of those guys will be Lemon in case one of the vets gets hurt or simply doesn't have it any more. The 3rd QB on the depth chart should be Drew Stanton. Go get Stanton with our late 2nd round pick or our 3rd round pick, wherever we think we can get him and groom him for 2009. We have to go with Culpepper or Green for the upcoming 2007 season.

Anybody that wants Green watch a replay of the Chiefs last game, in the playoffs. Indy played like crap and still won because of how bad Green and the offense was. Green sucks give Carr a decent O-line and a chance

If DC is not healthy
