Stop Whining about our picks you Hooligans

Last year, same time as of now, we all know you people were complaining about who the hell is channing crowder or who the hell is kevin vickerson and travis daniels and so on. But, as we have seen they all have developed. Cry and cry about how we didnt get chad jackson or orien harris or who who. Do you people see anything, we have no free saftey - Allen is a major steal. Just because he isnt a big star player and you havent heard of him out of college, does not mean he is not good. I.e. Zach Thomas, Chris Chambers, Wes Welker, Channing Crowder, and so on. And then we get Hagan, who is a steal, and then we get a 6-6 337 pound offensive lineman in the name of Joe Toledo. You haven't heard of him, we know, but how many other linemans have you heard of in the nfl when they were in college. He is 6-6 337 and played TE. That means he has above average athletic ability, and can run too. Thus, he can transform into a crazy lineman with speed and athletic ability. Think people, think.
 
i liked the allen pick i just didnt see that we needed joe toledo because we have pearson, shelton, carey, and mcintosh all at tackle
we need an outside linebacker now and we will be good
 
i completely agree man thanks for thread about it its completely ridiculous how everyone is bashing sabans picks seriously we saw how the draft paned out last year for us have faith

I think Hagan will surprise. I'm hoping he will be a steal; I'm just very skeptical about Allen. Toledo I know nothing about, and I remain skeptical. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. And, like me, I'm sure a lot of people who appear negative today were very happy and excited about our picks last year during the draft.
 
I acually think we need a SS not a FS, we signed whats his name from the raiders, he isnt a SS and he will prolly be starting

And Allen Aka Jim Jones (im not the only person who thinks they look alike do i?) Will hopefully be a special player

100% agreed man some people on here make me sick they think they know more than the coaches who scout these players please people have some faith geeeeeeeeezzzz.:(
 
I agree. Saban was God last year's draft and now he is drunk compared to some people on here.
 
Let Saban make some BAD decisions that translate on the FIELD before saying the man has lost it and has no clue what he's doing.
 
Oh yeah, we have Houdson Houck as the Lineman coach, who is one of the best in NFL. in San Diego, half those players were never heard of and he turned them into a bulldozing line For Ladanian. So Houck will make Toledo good. The only thing i was upset about is that we didnt get Omar Jacobs, but he is a position which isnt needed that much.
 
My biggest complaint is that I wish we had more picks. I miss the days of JJ where we traded down and had 12 picks. That way, you're more likely to hit.
 
Sorry, I'm too busy cutting myself because we didn't get Jon Scott in the 4th. Don't we have any emo smilies? :rolleyes: :shakeno:
 
We need to do a great job of blocking for Daunte coming off the knee injury, plus opening up the running game more would be a huge benefit for the team.
 
After what Saban did last year on the draft and on the field, he has earned the benefit of the doubt from Dolfans. He knows what he's trying to accomplish on both sides of the ball and how his personnel fit into that. The staff has also put these guys through their paces and watched copious amounts of game film on them. They know which prospects' issues are correctable with coaching and which ones aren't. Let's keep things in perspective, y'all.
 
I agree with this post. Everyone needs to stop acting like they know everything about these players. My whole thing is this....we were rumored to be in love with chad jackson and when did he go? Middle of the second round. Winston Justice was rumored to be going top 15, and when did he go? Middle of the second round. This just shows that every name that we hear has been hyped by numerous draft boards across the nation. Everyone needs to relax and let our prominent coaching staff do their work. Take a chill pill everyone, its Sunday!!
