These threads on henne and his gameplay. Hes a first year starter getting his feet wet. Shut the hell up with your displeasures of him because as far as ive seen henne will be here for a long time and i have a great feeling he will greatly improve. This is year two rebuilding with perhaps back to back winning records. Thats enough to say something great is brewing in miami. Enjoy this very young team, they will be a force to reckon with. Im sure with what happened last year and this year miami will identify its strengths and weaknesses. Defense will be totally revamped, bank on it. Love this teams resiliance and grit for being very YOUNG.

i dont think henne has shown much improvement in eleven or twelve games. I know he;s young and all, but take a look at thigpen in KC last year. He started off bad but got better and better as time went on. they never lost because of him. Plus he was only thier third string, he was never the "future" like henne. henne has been groomed since getting drafted and i dont see improvement. i would love to see thigpen in for the last two games.

Look, I disagree with all the Henne haters, but come on, we basically just got knocked out of the playoffs, because we played a bad game, and once again the refs were calling **** calls against us. Let people vent.

beg to differ. Hes going to make those throws and yes some will be picked. I recall a thread that had peytons rookie numbers and they were atrocious. Henne has improved in certain areas but obviously needs to fix turnovers. If henne started the season miami would or wouldnt have the record they have. Henne has allot more upside anyways plus a gun for an arm.

Ive only discovered my love for football 5 years ago. My family are all fans of miami. And I never understood why they always liked miami. Considereing they lost alot during my life time.

However seeing Miami win the game in 2007. Made me understand and it opened the light.

How could you of lived through the years my family did and not understand how special Henne is?

Just because he is a first year starter dosent mean he is off limits to criticism. Get real man. He has a job and is accountable like anyone else.

Lately he has looked like Jay Cutler 2.0. Thats all.

THANK YOU

Accountability, people. I preach it. You have to hold these people accountable. Chad Henne turned the ball over and made poor decisions today and he should be held accountable. You can't shelter him because of his poor decision making today. I'm a big fan of Chad Henne. He has shown a lot of promise this season and I'm standing behind him 100%. But I will hold him accountable and I will hold the team accountable. The onwers, GM's and coaches hold this team accountable and I'm thankful they do. I'd hate to see how bad this team would be if they weren't held accountable and were sheltered and petted like some of you here do when fans bang on players after losses.

Anyone who didn't think Henne would have some growing pains on the road are just silly, and know very little about the game of football.

I told you all in week 5 that the road sched coming up will be a tough adjustment for a rookie QB.. Anyone with any sense knew it was coming.

It's hard for a first year starter to go in a road environment and win every week.. especially with the garbage we have at the WR position... and not having an athletic pass catching tight end on top of it.

And last week he completed 17 straight passes on the road, tying a franchise record. That is huge.. He will be fine.

There is a reason why he has looked better at home overall than on the road.. It takes a little more time for a young QB to get it in hostile territory.

He didn't look special in New York, New England or in Buffalo, and he had his hiccups today. But from what we've seen at home we know he has it.. He just doesn't have the weapons to put him over the top.. The Dolphins have a bottom tier slow pass catching TE, and a bottom 10 receiving corps... many will say it's even worse than bottom 10 - more like bottom 5.

He needs weapons who can get open.. Time and time again there was no one open downfield yesterday so he had to check down.. Get the man some weapons.

Look at other teams and look at the weapons they have in the passing game compared to the garbage the Dolphins have..

Quit blaming the Ref's, the team laid another egg when it counted...maybe in a year or two we can expect a better showing...but a loss is a loss and Henne was a big part if the loss, so was Ricky, the piss poor run stopping, pass coverage, and also the pathetic returns all day once again... No, the ref's didn't blow this game...this was a total team screwup when we needed the win at all costs.

Sporano's clock management, and Henning's instilling a sense of urgency into Henne when the game clock is running down is horrendous. Henne needs to get the plays off faster. He'll learn that with time. Today wasn't a good time to show how obvious the problem is.

Peyton Manning threw 26 TD's his first year and set other records for rookie QB production. Can we please stop bringing up how many interceptions Peyton Manning threw because there were clearly some things happening on the field that were at a level that few young QB's reach.

Henne has had some short periods of practical dominance in a game, but he always fades and still doesn't translate his play into half the TD's that Manning had. People on this board need to stop making this ridiculous comparison because the fact that Manning threw a lot of interceptions which offset some stellar play otherwise doesn't give every young QB a blank check to come in and struggle.

Besides, Henne is a first-year starter. Manning was a rookie.

I know.. I said we played a bad game in the line right above that. I was saying terrible calls didn't help either.
